Lupe is Franz Sanchez's girlfriend, or rather kept mistress. Sanchez risks being arrested when he travels to confront her sleeping with another man. Sanchez deals with Lupe and the man she slept with in a particularly chilling sequence.
Intending to kill Milton Krest aboard his boat the WaveKrest, Bond discovers Lupe onboard. After finding out Lupe doesn't know the location of Sanchez, Bond escapes from the WaveKrest in a plane containing a large sum of drug money.
Bond meets Lupe later at the casino, and assists him in escaping Sanchez's house undetected. She then tells Pam Bouvier (as Miss Kennedy) that Bond is danger and with the help of Q and Pam, Bond manages to escape Sanchez's drug distribution plant. Bond leaves Lupe with President Hector Lopez to be with Pam at the end of the film.

Lupe Lamora is Sanchez's girlfriend who lives a life of luxury. However like a few other Bond Girls this life of luxury comes at a price, virtual imprisonment by Sanchez. Kept a close eye on, she has to do what Sanchez says, and may only go somewhere if he gives his approval. Sanchez whips her when she disobeys these rules in the pre-credit sequence, causing the man she slept with to have his heart cut out.
With exotic beauty and sexuality, Talisa Soto plays the role of Lupe Lamora excellently, portraying her beauty in every scene she appears in. §
