The Gateway Arch was stunning to visit! The museum is well done though we didn't plan enough time to really go through it in much detail. We were on one of the last trams of the day to the top and flew through security as there was no line at that time The whole area kind of feels like an airport, especially in the area between the boarding sections where the cafe and shop are. You are limited in the amount of time you spend at the top but we had no problems getting plenty of photos and video from both sides of the arch. They move people through very efficiently.

The only problem we ran into was with the Arch Cafe. We were looking for someone to have dinner that our picky kids would also eat at. I saw the menu on that Arch Cafe website and it seemed perfectly so we planned for that. The website says it is open during the Gateway Arch hours which I confirmed during the summer are 9AM to 8PM. The downloadable brochure they have even lists their hours of operations as 8:30AM to 9:30PM every day of the week. We arrived around 6:15PM to find the kitchen was closed. All we could get were refrigerated pre-made deli sandwiches, packaged yogurt, and bags of chips. And as soon as we paid for what we picked, the place closed up. I'm not sure if they were closing early for some reason or the website has old information, but this was very disappointing. So just keep in mind the Arch Cafe may or may not be open.

These gardens are beautifully kept. The place is huge and there are many trails leading all around the property to so many different types of gardens. Unfortunately, my kids aged 12 and 10 were too young to be much interested in the gardens but also seemed to old for the children's' garden. We paid for the children's garden but for the most part, the kids thought it was boring. A few years ago, they would have loved it! I do like that it was free for kids unless they wanted to experience the children's garden. All the gardens and trails were beautifully done and the stroll through the Climotron was not what I was expecting.

This place is huge and full of passages and mazes. You will get separated from your kids. The ends of many tunnels and slides can't be seen from the entrance and many tend to be too small for many adults to fit in. Several often split and go different directions. More than once I expected one of my kids to come out of a tunnel in once area only for them to come for a completely different area.

The place is very busy and there are kids running everywhere. The one bad thing is that, since there are no maps available, it can be hard to find how to access certain things. It took a bit for us to figure out how to get to the outside bit in front of the museum. We never did find the roof entrance but we didn't really look hard since we didn't pay for access to it. Due to rain, the roof was closed when we arrived but it appeared they did open it later.

If you have young ones, either be able to follow them in any tunnel or slide, or there is a toddler area on the 3rd floor. Food was also a major downside here. We got an extra-large pizza for the family. The options were 9 inch personal pizzas or a 16 inch extra large on. The pizza was essentially cardboard with cheese on it, very little sauce, and pretty tasteless. I also had to tell the guy taking orders what we wanted about 5 times before we finally got it right.

My kids thought this place was a lot of fun, but it is dark, it is loud, and it is crowded!

First time at this stadium. Beautiful stadium. We were on the second level with a great view of the arch and skyline & home plate. Paid a little more for tickets but well worth it. Friendly staff everywhere- from beginning to end of the game. We were at the Milwaukee Brewers game. Food is overpriced but this was anticipated. Plenty of clean bathrooms.

I often travel, I make daily mass if possible. This is by far the most beautiful church I have ever been to. Not much more I can say that anyone else hasn't said already. Luckily, I went mid-week however, parking seems like it will be difficult if it maxed out.

Very nice place to spend with the family. We have teens and they enjoyed it as well. Bottle feeding goats and feeding the parakeets were the highlight of the visit. The goats were so friendly and social that even when the bottles were dry they came up for pets. Very cute! Parakeet feeding so do adorable. They would preen you and they landed all over you.
The employees were all so friendly and helpful. It was an awesome tram ride with history information and seeing animals. It was a great day.

We were unaware when we booked our stay that we would be so close to this beautiful park.Everything had bloomed or blooming- it was picturesque. Birds everywhere and so we’re the cicadas. Cold spend the entire day on the green grass.

First and foremost it’s free to enter! It is truly a beautiful compound. The exhibits are amazing. I really enjoyed the Native American Art exhibit and the sculpture garden- just plan for 3-4 or more hours to look and read and enjoy.

We took the tram to the top of the Arch, which gives you spectacular views of the city and Mississippi River. It was a sunny day and we could see very far into the city and the countryside. The tram car is fairly small, 5 people per car but it was closed in with just 3 people in our car, and takes 3 minutes to get you to the top. There are other activities at the Arch such as the Museum of Westward Expansion which provided a lot of information about the early city of St. Louis as well as stories about Native Americans, explorers, and early pioneers. We also watched the movie about the building of the Arch. Then we went to the Virtual Reality Theater where we put on headsets that let us see the 1850’s St. Louis Riverfront. Through the headset, you see and hear stories about the diverse group of people who crossed paths there including dockworkers, slaves, and arrivals from the boats who were ready to head west.

During my visit in 2020, I attended a rare exhibit of DaVinci. Very educational and fun experience.
