COLOURS, Seven Days, PARTYPACK Review: Run up to P4

Colours: Astheic: I think Colours is what a perfect Party album should/wouldve sounded like. It's the only time where he didn't produce but the projects were true to his sound and also pushed the boundary just enough while maintaining what we love about him.

Stand Outs: LET'S GET MARRIED, GIRL FROM OAKLAND, JUS KNOW, FREAK IN YOU, RENDEZVOUS

Notes: Executive produces by 'G Ry Got me' a long time collaborator of Party who knew him before he was signed to OVO (He produced Things and Such, Talk to me nice, Since way Back, Just Might, SLS, Problems and Selfless)

7 DAYS: Background: Partys pen game had been heavily praised at this point, he just came of the back of another number 1 by writing 'Wild Thoughts' (Demo on YT). He challenged himself to do an EP in 7 days. That being said he was really trying to go mainstream at this time and I thnk that played a part in this project really not being him. And for me this is the onlytime he started to far from himself.

Astheic: Not much to say here, very remonicent of the trap era at that time with the production which was very far from Partys usual sound. Not many people like this project and it does sound a bit lazy at certain points (grace given it was made in literally 7 days) Stand Outs: Damage Notes: Not a big fan of this project at all, stears very far from what we love about Party and has very little saving it. That being said I somehow still enjoy it somewhat as an alternative when I'm tired of his usual sound. 3/10

PARTYPACK Background: Off the back of PARTYMOBILE he gave his fans some songs previously not available on streaming platforms similar to what he did with COLOURS 1.

Asthetic: There isn't much of a theme with this project and to be honest people only listen to it for the first three tracks which are some of Partys best work and is the saving grace of the whole project.

Stand Outs: PURSIAN RUGS, WEST DISTRICT, THINGS AND SUCH 6/10
