Hi Matt. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor. Minecraft's single player mode can be played offline, provided you have signed in to the launcher and downloaded at least one version of the game before going offline. If you're on Windows, make sure offline permissions are enabled for your PC: https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/game-setup-and-play/play-games-offline-on-windows-10-using-offline-mode Make sure that you're online. Check that your device has the latest Windows updates: Go to Start > Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and see if any relevant updates are available. Open the Microsoft Store. You'll be prompted to sign in if you haven't already. Select your profile icon in the upper right corner. Select App settings, and then under Offline permissions, make sure that the toggle is set to On. If you're on a Mac or Linux device, you can simply open the Minecraft launcher and play any downloaded version offline. Please reach back if you have further questions.

Hello! So one problem i'd like to present is that i only found out that i cant start the launcher AFTER i dont have internet. And with the offline permissions option turned off automatically, i now cant play minecraft and i cant even turn the option on because you HAVE to be online to being to go offline? Why would i be online to turn the setting for offline permissions on to then go play offline when i then have internet? Why isnt it on by default or atleast advertised that you'd have to turn this option on before being able to play offline? It actually kinda annoys me that they've put an options that says "pay without pincode/password" on by default, but NOT being able to play offline? Does microsoft need THAT much money?
Hope this helps microsoft see their flaw and does something about it:)
