This area of Hobart is a must, so much great food and friendly locals. I strongly recomend you take your time to enjoy this area and explore the back alis and laneways, you will be surprised what you will find.

This is a great place for a stroll. There are places to eat and drink if that is your thing, but otherwise just enjoy walking by the water and watching the boats. Limited parking (for a fee).
Our cruise ship was docked in the vicinity, this are is simply stunning, and not to be missed by the visitor.
Another must-see for any visitor to Hobart is Constitution Dock. A visitor does not have to buy anything, but just to walk around the area is enough. It is a good idea to wander around during the day, and during the evening after dark. The lights around the docks are really good.
A great place for find reasonably priced food at one of the floating food boats. Besides Flippers, the seafood place closest to the street, and Van Diemens Land Creamery, an ice cream place, we enjoyed Belly Talk which offered seafood, burgers and chicken options. Their soft shelled crab burger, kim chee burger and fried chicken were fabulous.
There are seating in front of each food boat.
On a sunny day this is a great place to walk around. Some of the fish outlets are very popular. Plenty of seating. Convenient to everything. I really enjoyed it.
