History
Established in 1973, John Ratcliffe has focused on providing its customers with a range of quality filtration, safety equipment and other mining, automotive and related products backed by their personalised service and support.
What we do
We engineer and retrofit evasive safety, engine ancillary, emission quality and exhaust systems. We serve the mining, construction, agricultural, material handling and transport industries.

As a longstanding member of the Retail Motor Industry of South Africa, John Ratcliffe has a substantial customer base. Our workmanship and service has been proven for over 50 years and our customer base is growing daily as we partner with customers in finding the best solution for their requirement.
How we do it
John Ratcliffe offers additional services which include underground and surface vehicle and machine surveys for safety equipment, filtration requirements, exhaust failure and pipe work, emission solutions, diesel particulate filters, puri-mufflers, PTX purifiers, catalytic converters and diluters.
Our experienced team assists customers in finding the right solution for their specific applications. The team is able to design specialised pipe work, filter kits and exhaust systems, to customer specification and requirements in stainless or mild steel.
