Each map offers students the opportunity to engage with various geographical, political, and historic elements, but also includes questions that require students to use information from the map. In evaluating any product used in the classroom, I ask a simple question: how often will I use this in my classroom? To put it simply, I see this workbook getting a lot of use!

They actually asked me to find something just like it for geography this year. Sadly, I haven't found anything quite like it. We also used the U.S. History Map Activities by the same publisher, Walch, previous to using this one. We liked it too. The Geography Coloring Book by Kapit is another good resource that we've learned from.

The longitude and latitude lines make these maps very cluttered and there are no answer keys to give the students a reference to find the information. You will need to find a resource that allows the students to find all of the information so they can include it on the map. The book simply gives you the word bank and the blank map.
