#27  It Ended Way Too Soon: Justin Swart’s Springbok Career

--:--
Prepare yourself for a fun journey back to the mid-90s when Justin Swart appeared to have the rugby world at his feet. An explosive wing, he made his Springbok debut in 1996 and performed admirably. However he soon found himself out of the picture but after switching to fullback he set the domestic rugby scene alight with some superb performances. Swart was duly rewarded with the Number 15 jersey in Nick Mallett’s first Test in charge. Unfortunately Just suffered a hamstring injury soon thereafter and lost his place to Percy Montgomery – a man who would go on to become one of the all-time greatest Springboks. Justin Swart’s Springbok career is one of excitement but mostly bad luck. In this candid conversation he takes us back to that era and in his own words discusses what really happened. You’re not going to want to miss this one!
