Kent State University at Stark succeeds in offering a big university experience at a small city regional campus. Professors are excellent and deeply invested in their students, and there is no excuse for no success. While the campus is more in tone with community college than a state university, I highly recommend the school.
I enjoyed the campus and the instructors are very attentive from my experience. Kent State at Stark is a regional campus and I genuinely feel like students get a better education at these regional branches. The community is closer and classes are smaller which makes me more motivated to engage and connect with peers.
The classes were great because of how small they were. The teacher could talk to you individually and more efficiently because of the low population. But, some teachers were careless and made you feel stupid during lectures.
