Headteacher's Welcome

It is a great privilege to introduce myself as the Headteacher of this wonderful school.

From the moment I stepped into Dyson Perrins I was struck by both the excellent relationships between staff and students and the positive climate for learning. I am immensely proud to have joined the school as Headteacher in September 2018.

Academic excellence and students’ personal growth are equally important to us. Dyson Perrins has a strong sense of community, a desire to support and nurture individuals, and a commitment to challenging students to fulfil their potential. We expect students to show respect, be kind and work hard. The school has seen rapid improvements over recent years and has established a strong reputation within the local community. Year groups in the lower school are now close to being over-subscribed and the school is growing rapidly.

We are a fully inclusive Church of England school, meaning we welcome students from all faiths and none. We believe that our Christian foundations allow us to foster an ethos of tolerance and compassion. The school’s values of belief, trust, resilience and challenge are embedded in our school culture.

I am passionate about the power of a great education and building the foundations for successful lives. We aim to inspire our students on a daily basis. We would be delighted to show you our school in action if you would like to visit us on a normal working day.
