chicken shack were up until this point a blues band.this album is stunning a great transfer from blues to rock.this album should have brought chicken shack great credebility for rock music not just blues.although having said that stan the man is great what ever direction he chooses.

Schon der Nachfolger "Imagination Lady" schlug härtere Töne an, deshalb ist diese Aufnahme in meinen Augen die letzte blueslastige Scheibe vom Hühnerstall.
Ich kann mich noch daran erinnern warum ich die Scheibe in den 70ern gekauft habe: Sie war recht billig und das Cover gefiel mir so gut ... lol!!
Aber die Musik ist es allemal wert genau hinzuhören und das klasse Spiel der Band auf sich wirken zu lassen.
Auf einzelne Songs eingehen haben andere schon gemacht und ich stimme der Rezension von Uwe Smala im großen und ganzen zu.
Leider ist auch ihm ein Fehler unterlaufen. Das letzte Stück auf der original LP war eben nicht "She didn t use her loaf" sondern das wohl kürzeste Stück Musikgeschichte "Apple Tart" mit genau 2 sek.
Leider wird es weder auf CD noch auf nachgepressten LPs berücksichtigt ... wenns auch nur 2 sek. sind, es fehlt eben etwas zum Original!

Die CD ist super.Hat noch gefehlt in meiner Sammlung.Leider war die CD-Hülle (Glas) beschädigt.Muste die CD-Hülle komplett auswechseln. Vielen Dank für die CD.
