Wales High School is a comprehensive school, admitting students of all academic abilities from 11 to 19 years of age. The current roll is over 1,800, including Sixth Form students.
Situated on the edge of the villages of Wales and Kiveton Park, the School serves a wide community. Students attend from the villages of Anston, Harthill, Kiveton Park, Thorpe Salvin, Thurcroft, Todwick, Wales and Woodall. Children from other villages and beyond the Rotherham boundary have also chosen to attend Wales High School. The school‘s success, combined with good transport facilities, adds to its attraction.
All students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and high standards are maintained throughout the school. The school has a successful academic record and is concerned for the personal development of all students.
