My husband and I had sushi while our friends got the dinner bowls. We tried the Alaskan roll which was good but I'd probably like it better without the salmon being smoked, the Las Vegas roll which was my husbands favorite of all time because it had jalapeños on top. Our friends enjoyed theirs very much and had plenty of leftovers.

This location was conveniently located near a hotel in which I stayed. I wanted some type of Asian cuisine and this location worked. I ordered one of the pre-set menu items (Pad Thai) which I enjoyed. The next time I'm here I'll go for one of the bowls and select my own ingredients.

This was the worse Mongolian grill I have ever ate at. I took my family there, party of 4. I ordered 2 sushi rolls for my daughter and myself my wife and son ordered their bowls and it took them over 40 minutes to make 2 bowls and when they did come out they were burnt and flavorless. I watched my waiter ask the cooks to hurry up and the literally waved him off to stop bothering them. This place was not busy by no means. Will not recommend this place.

The food is delicious and at decent price. We got the fried rice, superman and batman sushi rolls. Each bite was delicious. The spring rolls and egg rolls were nice and fresh. Crispy not soggy. We will be going back again many times. It's definitely worth trying.

Sunday night, we walk in and there's at least eight empty tables, yet we have to wait 20 minutes to be seated.
The waitress shows up fairly quickly to take drink orders and returns to take our food order. We order what is known anywhere else as a crab wonton, and she disappears. Eventually, the drinks show up, and after a small time, the appetizer shows up. Apparently, the equivalent of crab wontons isn't the house specialty. It was passable, nothing more.
After our food order, the really waiting began. I regret not setting a stopwatch, or that matter, a sundial. The time lapse was significant enough the waitress seemed confused.
What finally arrived was decent, but not outstanding in any way. The taste was OK, but food that should have been warm was room temperature.
If there were 500 miles between me and the next restaurant, I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. At 400 miles, I'd probably keep driving.

Service has always been good. At first I was afraid to dive in and make my own stir fry so I just ordered off the menu which was fine but once I started experimenting on my own I have never gone back to ordering off the menu! It's always good because you choose all the ingredients you love. I have not even tried the sushi yet...maybe next week...

Christmas shopping with the girls and had a great lunch at Kublai Khan. The sushi lunch special was a great deal, although my friends tried the jalapeno tuna roll and do not recommend it because it was too spicy for them to eat. They had a 2 for 1 Kirin Beer special which was a bargain. The waitress was not terribly knowledgeable about the rolls which lead my friends to order the aforementioned roll. Overall a good experience and I will be back next time I visit South Haven.

The food is awesome. The employees are very nice, clean, and responds to the customers needs as well as explaining how to order and helps customers as much as in their ability. The resturant is clean as well as dishes, silverware, etc. The only problem I saw was noise it's loud if full but that happens in so many other resturant .

We went to dinner on Halloween night and the staff was dressed up. The waitress, however, was not very friendly. (Which is the only negative thing I have to say about this place!) The food was great and we enjoyed our dinner.

Great food.
Some of the best sushi around.
Great proportions and not costly. Great to dine in or take out.

I like the Mongolian stir fry more at this restaurant than Genghis Grill - there are more choices, and nobody quibbles if you stack your bowl up 2-3 stories! One of the employees even gave me tips on how to use the carrot, zucchini, and squash slices on the sides of the bowl to act as walls to contain more meats and veggies. I must tell you about the sushi - this is one of my top 3 favorite sushi places in the Greater Memphis area. I know it's bad, but I don't usually tip sushi chefs, but I do at Kublai Khan. Everything is so fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. They have a full bar, and there is plenty of seating for larger groups. The staff is friendly and quick also - great place for lunch even if you only have an hour. I highly recommend this place - if you haven't become a fan already, you will after your first visit.

We ordered take-out sushi online. Better than expected. Especially the Crunchy Yellowtail. The atmosphere was very nice. We regretted not dining in.

I have eaten here before and it was pretty decent. I like the whole make your own stir fry concept. Just tried to visit this past week with a different experience. First off, the hostesses just stood around, even though 3 staff members stared right at my son and me, no one acknowledged us for a few minutes. It finally occurred to them that we weren't just standing there so one of the hostesses asked us if we wanted to eat in or take out. I said eat in and she informs me that they aren't doing stir fry. I asked for how long, like for the next hour or the night or forever. All she could tell me was "until further notice" but said they still had sushi. No thanks. I went in for noodles, not sushi. Southaven has like 6 sushi restaurants if that's what I was looking for. Plus it felt like the air conditioner was either off or broken.
