Feature Projects
The largest renewable energy laboratory with ground-mounted solar power system in Indonesia. Built by Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA) in collaboration with SUN Energy and PT Wijaya Karya. This project will produce 1 MWp of electrical energy for university’s research and also public consumption.
BIPV or Building-Integrated Photovoltaics, is the latest technique in the application of solar system technology, which is integrated directly with the roof of the building. In addition to producing electrical energy with a capacity of 129.5kWp, BIPV also provides benefits in the form of efficiency in building materials, and beautifies the aesthetics of the building architecture that will look more attractive.
Our business unit, SUN Energy strengthens its positions in the generation of renewable energy electricity with a total of 17 Megawatt in Thailand. This is SUN Energy’s first investment in Thailand and the second regional acquisition after Taiwan. It’s just a beginning among our big steps toward sustainability and to continue contributing to the energy transition while protecting the earth.
SUN Energy has signed a binding agreement to acquire 100% of the assets of the 132 MWp Merredin Solar Farm in Western Australia from Risen Energy. Merredin is the largest operating solar farm in Western Australia with expected annual renewable power generation of 274 GWh.
