PERSON’S SKILLS AND OUTCOMES. LATER IN LIFE. WELL, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. 12 OR SO HOURS CAN MAKE. I HAVE TO BE HONEST, I WASN’T AWAKE WHEN IT WAS SNOWING OUT EARLIER TODAY, BUT IT’S NOT NOW AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE SKIES MIGHT BE CLEARING A LITTLE BIT. IT’S IT WOULD BE NICE FOR THAT SNOW TO JUST KEEP ON MOVING OUT. JASON. THEN I KNOW YOU WERE HIDING UNDER YOUR BLANKET. YOU PEEKED OUT AND YOU’RE LIKE, NO, NO, I DON’T WANT THIS SNOW. BUT NO, IT’S IT’S IT’S SHIFTING OUT FOR SURE. AND NOW WE’VE GOT RAIN ON THE BACKSIDE OF THIS SYSTEM. AND YOU CAN SEE JUST KIND OF SPOTTY CHANCES FOR SHOWERS. SO SOME OF THOSE THOUGH, MAKING THEIR WAY INTO THE METRO, YOU LOOK TO THE NORTHEAST UPWARDS TOWARDS INDEPENDENCE. VINTON, DOWN TOWARDS WILLIAMSBURG. SOME SHOWERS STILL AND WE’VE STILL GOT EVEN SNOW PUSHING ITS WAY THROUGH MANCHESTER EASTWARD TOWARDS DAVENPORT. SO AS WE ZOOM OUT A LITTLE BIT FURTHER, YOU CAN SEE THAT AREA OF SCATTERED SHOWERS THAT’S BEEN PUSHING. ITS WAY ONIN, AND YOU LOOK OUTSIDE, THOUGH IT DOESN’T LOOK TOO BAD. WEST DES MOINES, WE’VE GOT BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS, CAN’T SEE ANY CLEAR SIGNS OF RAIN JUST YET. CRESTON LOOKING BEAUTIFUL. LOOK AT THOSE BLUE SKIES AND THOSE BIG PUFFY CLOUDS. IT IS BREEZY OUT THERE THOUGH. DON’T LET THAT BEAUTIFUL SIGHT LULL YOU INTO A SENSE OF A BEAUTIFUL DAY. 54 ATLANTIC 44 FOR IOWA FALLS. FORT DODGE COMING IN AT 47. SO A 12 HOUR FORECAST COULD STILL SEE QUITE A BIT OF WIND OUT THERE TOMORROW. STARTING. OFF THE DAY IN THE MIDDLE 30S, YOU CAN SEE THAT LITTLE WISPY ICON THAT MEANS WIND GUSTS OF OVER 20MPH. AND WE WILL HAVE THAT ALL DAY LONG. IN FACT, WE COULD SEE THOSE WINDS RATCHET UPWARDS TOWARDS 30 TO 35MPH, TEMPERATURE WISE, WE’LL BE STRUGGLING TO MAKE IT OUT OF THE UPPER 40S TOMORROW. I THINK SOME OF US DO TOUCH ON LOW 50S, BUT THAT BREEZE IS MAKING IT MAKE IS GOING TO MAKE IT NOT FEEL LIKE LOW 50S ALL DAY. LOOK AT THE SNOW TO THE EAST TOO. WE’LL CONTINUE TO BE ON TRACK FOR CHANCES FOR SNOW. I’D SAY AS FAR WEST IS AROUND GRINNELL OR SO. WILL BE LIGHT THOUGH, AND AGAIN, WE’RE NOT EXPECTING MUCH OF ANY ACCUMULATION. LOOK AT THE WIND GUSTS THOUGH, 40 TO 45MPH BY LATE MORNING AND WE’LL SEE THAT DIE DOWN JUST A BIT AS WE HEAD INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING. BUT THAT SNOW FINALLY DEPARTS AND THE CLOUDS ARE GOING TO START TO BREAK TOO. SO AS WE HEAD INTO THURSDAY, MORE OF US ARE GOING TO BE PICKING UP ON A BIT OF SUNSHINE OUT THERE WITH THOSE WINDS THOUGH, OUT OF THE NORTH FAIRLY STRONG, FINALLY TAPERING BACK BY FRIDAY MORNING. SO AS FAR AS HOW MUCH MORE RAIN YOU CAN EXPECT, AREAS TO THE WEST THAT ARE SEEING THOSE SCATTERED SHOWERS, IT’S GOING TO BE VERY LIGHT TO THE EAST WHERE YOU’RE STILL DEALING WITH SOME OF THAT LINE OF SHOWERS COULD SEE AROUND A HALF INCH FOR DAVENPORT, 4/10 OF AN INCH FOR IOWA CITY WATERLOO, EVEN ABOVE A 10TH OF AN INCH SNOW POTENTIAL. THE BEST CHANCES FOR ANYTHING ACCUMULATING WILL BE UP INTO WISCONSIN FOR US EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE WILL SEE LIGHT, SNOW AND PERHAPS A DUSTING EAST OF THE METRO. THAT EIGHT DAY FORECAST, THOUGH, SHAKING OFF THE COLD, SHAKING OFF THE SNOW AND EVEN THE RAIN. TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE LOW 50S ON THURSDAY, CONTINUING TO BUILD CLOSE TO 60 BY SATURDAY. WE DO HAVE A CHANCE FOR MORE SHOWERS SUNDAY INTO MONDAY, AND MODELS ARE A BIT SPLIT RIGHT NOW ON THE CLOUD COVER FORECAST FOR MONDAY. IF WE WANT TO SEE THE ECLIPSE, THERE’S A CHANCE THAT WE COULD SEE SOME BREAKS, BUT TIME WILL TELL HERE AS WE GET A LITTLE BIT CLOS
