My family of grandparents, two adult sons, wives, and two grandsons stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the amusement park. We chose this hotel for its location near Veteran’s Park and family owned restaurants that offer take-out since we wanted a delicious dinner in the room on Friday night. The hotel has an indoor pool that is open from 6:00 am to midnight. Breakfast offerings included cereal, yogurt, bagels, pastries, breads, fresh fruit, granola bars, waffles, and a hot breakfast choice each morning (scrambled eggs and turkey sausage links, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon, and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich muffins with egg, ham, and melted cheese). Each hostess made sure the cold and hot breakfasts were stocked for all guests and areas clean.

Henry at the front desk assisted me with check in for three separate rooms. He was very welcoming and precise when giving me keys and room numbers as I had three different room configurations (king, 2 queens, king suite). The hotel was immaculately clean and inviting beginning with the front reception room, pool, hallway, and our rooms, which were made and refreshed each day. I had called five days prior to our coming to request that the rooms be on the same floor, adjoining rooms if possible, or near each other. This hotel was extremely accommodating with that as our rooms were on the first floor within steps from each other. The grandsons were able to come and go between our rooms or just stay in our room which actually pleased their parents! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay again next year for this family “reunion” in Williamsburg.

Excellent indoor pool except opening (11 am) as unusually late. The maid had not cleaned used coffee filter from coffee maker, and for that reason, wwe did not use it. (Normally, I would have washed and used, but was reluctant to do so during the Corona virus.) .

The hotel was somewhat short-staffed, which made for a slow checkout. This was, I suppose , to be expected because of recent closures.

Stayed here for a couple of days on a visit to Jamestown. It is quite central to all the Williamsburg attractions, has parking right outside, rooms are big and comfortable and breakfast had a surprisingly good selection of things on offer. Quite a nice lounge area in the lobby. Very good and pleasant staff.

I wish I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor before I booked this property. I booked through Expedia and was a little suspicious about the low rate on a Holiday week but figured I was getting some sort of great deal.

We arrived a little after 9 pm and checked in. The process took about 20 minutes which was ridiculous. We were traveling with small children who just had to endure a 5 hour car ride and the check in process didn't make things any easier.

When we got to our room I was surprised by how outdated and dingy it was. There was mold in the bathroom, stains in the toilet and even on the top of the toilet seat.

Motel 6 has better standards for cleanliness than this Country Inn.

I tried to cancel my reservation and leave, however since I booked through Expedia, it was a non-refundable rate. So we had to endure the 3 day stay.

Breakfast was basic, nothing special. Just walk across the street to Denny's.

Please don't be fooled by other reviews that claim this hotel is clean and family friendly. We had 2 separate rooms during our stay and had similar issues.

Also the bathroom fan was loud in both rooms, much like the other reviews point out.

Thank you for stopping with us in the Williamsburg area this holiday season. We are a family friendly hotel and apologize for the issues you described. I assure you that this is not the level of hospitality we strive to provide our guest. Additionally, any guest who is dissatisfied can stop at the front desk and speak with me and let me help them find more suitable accommodations.

The hotel is filthy. Numerous dead bugs on the floors (even right at the pantry door!), windowsills in eating area and were all still there 2 days later. No sign of vacuuming and the hallways were very stained, dirty, and littered with small bits of debris. The breakfast area was not cleaned and there was still food and forks left on the tables from the day before. The pool had a sort of soapy fluid on the top of the water, there was sand in the bottom and the pool filter was not running for the 2 days we stayed. When we reported all the sand, the agent told us "oh, that's OK. It will disappear"! The handicap transfer chair in the pool area is filthy and almost rusted completely through. The pool towels given by the staff was threadbare, had holes and was unravelling at the bottom. Our room smelled extremely musty and can't open the windows to air it out. The vent in the bathroom was so full of dust and dirt that it didn't function adequately. The hotel staff were not unfriendly but generally unmemorable. I would NEVER go to this place again!!!

Ironic their breakfast selection is "COVID acceptable". (Very bland and tasteless) Nothing else certainly was.

Thank you for sharing your review. It saddens us to hear that your stay was anything less than satisfying due to multiple issues that you encountered such as the cleanliness of the facilities, condition of towels and the concern about the breakfast at that time. Certainly, this is not the kind of experience we would like our valued guest to have and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you during your stay. Your feedback is a big help for us to improve our service. We still look forward to serving you in any of our Country Inn hotels in the future.

Our room (219) had water running from center of our bathroom ceiling when we woke up.
Was told by evening front desk clerk her son didn't know what he was doing when he replaced a part in the toilet in the room above ours. Why are staff members doing repairs?
We got placed into a inferior room 211, (1 bed vs 2 originally) that had holes in the walls, hair stuck to the bathroom wall, and yes, water stains on it's ceiling also.
The outlet near the door had open hole next to it, obviously the box had been moved or the opening cut wrong. The shower spout had a fixture just dangling free. Lots of maintenance problems everywhere. The bathroom is so small and the door placement is such that you cannot enter or exit the shower if the door is open, and you must stand next to the side of the toilet to open or close the door. Smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel.
The carpet in the halls were filthy and had bleach stains where cleaning was attempted with bleach.
Even the breakfast area has stains in the ceiling.
Really bad hotel. Probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
We won't stay in another Radisson ever.

The property and location is nice. My overall stay would've been great if there hadn't been so many deficiencies with the cleanliness. The pool had hair in it one day, hair outside the pool the next day and hair elastics lying around the pool, in addition to crumbled food just lying there. I brought all of this to the attention of the front desk on day one to return on day two the same way. I never saw anyone check the levels of the water in the hot tub or the pool and neither was it posted. Throughout the hotel it was just crumbled stuff in the carpet. It took them three hours to vacuum the steps of he foyer to remove the crumbled food. Cleanliness was a problem.

This hotel was filthy. Carpets in hallway and room were disgusting. Toilet in my room flushed continuously all night on its own.
I wiped down door handles and lamp with disinfectant wipes that came away filthy. Interior of room door was splattered with some mysterious substance. High pitched noise constantly.
While staff wore masks and kept the breakfast room clean there was no acknowledgement of COVID-19 precautions. No sign upon entry requesting customers wear masks or maintain social distance. Smokers sat outside at entry door.
A real dump!
In my travel companions room the smoke alarm was covered with plastic and the phone had no buttons!!

Besides the breakfast and the location, this was a disappointing stay for my family. Not very clean, low marks for customer service from both the front desk and housekeeping staff, and the bathroom was far too small for a suite designed to accommodate 6 people. Also, they stress wearing masks and adhering to social distancing recommendations, but the staff themselves - front desk, maintenance and housekeeping - ALL don't feel it's necessary for them to comply. With so many other choices in the area, we will not be back.

The staff was very welcoming. The hotel is dated. The carpets are badly stained. It needs upgrading. The scariest part is that I reported that the bottom of the bathtub in room 300 was like ICE. I almost broke my neck. When I reported this to the front desk in the morning, the woman acknowledged that this problem had been reported and there should have been a shower chair placed in the shower. There was not. I told her that the hotel was prime for a law suit because this was a horrendous situation in the making. She said, "thank you for your comments." Really? No apology, no concern, nothing. Breakfast was ok -- nothing special.

We do not have jetted tubs at our location, and we thank you for reaching out to us. We do have AARP discounts, however the extended stay 3 or 4 night discounts will probably be better. Breakfast currently is expanded continental, fruits, cereals, toater waffles, pastries, bagels, oatmeal, sausage or bacon egg and cheese biscuits and will probably be similar in June.
