Sources of Income
According to a recent article in Forbes, the Obamas have a combined net worth of $135 million. The majority of their wealth comes from book deals and speaking engagements. The couple has earned millions of dollars in book deals and speaking fees since leaving the White House.
Barack Obama’s first book, Dreams from My Father, was published in 1995 and became a bestseller. He has since published two more books: The Audacity of Hope in 2006, and A Promised Land in 2020. According to Forbes, these three books alone have earned the Obamas a combined $15 million.
In addition to their book earnings, the Obamas have also made millions through speaking engagements. It is estimated that Barack Obama charges between $200,000 and $400,000 per speech, while Michelle Obama charges $100,000-$250,000 per speech. The Obamas gave a joint keynote address at the 2018 AIA Conference on Architecture in New York City, which reportedly earned them a cool $500,000.
They reportedly signed a joint book deal worth $65 million with Penguin Random House shortly after leaving office. And on top of being paid handsomely for speaking engagements all over the world, they’ve also signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to produce films and series for the streaming service. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it’s been estimated to be worth around $50 million.
So there you have it! The Obamas are certainly doing well for themselves post-White House. Their estimated net worth is now around $140 million, which is up significantly from when Barack first became President in 2009 (when their estimated net worth was just $1.3 million).

When it comes to real estate, the Obama family is definitely not your average American family. The former President and First Lady of the United States have amassed quite a property portfolio over the years, with homes in Washington D.C., Chicago, New York City, and Hawaii.

They lived there until 2009, when they moved into the White House. In 2017, they bought a 8,200-square-foot mansion in Washington D.C.’s Kalorama neighborhood for $8.1 million.
The Obamas also own a vacation home on Martha’s Vineyard, which they purchased for $11.75 million in 2019. And last but not least, they have a stake in a luxury condominium complex in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, which is currently valued at upwards of $35 million.
Not bad for a couple who started out with relatively little!

Early Life
Aeneas Demetrius Williams was born January 29, 1968, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was the youngest of three brothers and, being the youngest, he undertook the role of being the superstar of the family. Aeneas attended Alcee Fortier High School, where he quickly discovered his ability and passion for football.
His parents, Lawrence and Lilian Williams, were serious about instilling education into their kids. This resulted in Aeneas’ first career goal being to get a great college education and end up as an accountant until he found football.
He wasn’t the only superstar on his high school football team, as three of his fellow teammates also became NFL players in the future. His fellow NFL teammates are Ashley Ambrose, Maurice Hurst, and Kevin Lewis, who led their high school team to a record 10 undefeated games.
Despite his impressive experience, Aeneas wasn’t offered a scholarship after graduating. Because of this, he attended Southern University and decided to focus on his studies so he wouldn’t make the same mistake again, choosing to focus on his academics because of his parents’ concerns.
Eventually, he joined the university’s team as a walk-in and continued to do so up until he was able to improve his drafting status. During this period, he had already broken the record for 11 interceptions in Division I-AA within the first year of joining the football team.
He earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting and stayed on the team as a graduate student, managing a college career total of 20 interceptions.
His decision to follow football as a career allowed him to join the ranks of the richest NFL players and was described by Aeneas as a religious experience. He joins players like Brett Favre, Sam Bradford, and Antonio Brown who have become wealthy by playing football.
Career
His hard work paid off and finally got him a place with the Arizona Cardinals in 1991.
He had successful seasons with the team and had landed himself six appearances in the Pro Bowl. He also helped the team win their first playoff since 1947.
During his seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, he tied for the NFC lead and the league lead in 1994 with nine interceptions. He was also named NFC Defensive Rookie of the Year and became known as the Cardinal’s top cornerback.
Aeneas was traded to the St. Louis Rams in 2001 with two years of free safety. The beginning of his season with the St. Louis Rams presented him with a roster issue, resulting in Aeneas working with an improvised defense team.
The first season with his new team went well until Aeneas lost motivation during a rather dull season and lost a game to the New England Patriots in 2004.
Following a bad injury, he retired from football in 2005, finishing his career with a total of 207 starts and 211 regular-season games.
After retirement, Aeneas became the pastor and founder of Spirit Church. He continues to spread his words throughout America and has released a book titled “It Takes Respect”, where he discusses his views on success.

Career
During his college career, Michael Vick appeared on the cover of ESPN The Magazine and led the NCAA in passing efficiency.
In his freshman year, he finished third in voting for the Heisman Trophy; the following year, he came in sixth.
During his Pro Day workout in 2001, Vick ran the 40-yard dash in just 4.33 seconds, the fastest-ever for an NFL quarterback.

The Atlanta Falcons

In 2018, he was hired as the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Legends but was later removed from the position to serve as a consultant to the team.

Favorite Quotes from Michael Vick
“The beginning of my love for football goes back to when I was seven years old. I was spending time with my grandmother, Caletha Vick. I never knew anything about the game until one Sunday afternoon when she turned on the television because the Redskins were playing. They were my Uncle Casey’s favorite team-and my grandmother’s favorite too. After watching the game with them, I was hooked.” – Michael Vick
“The first day I walked into prison, and he slammed that door, I knew the magnitude of the decision that I made, and the poor judgment, and what I allowed to happen to the animals. And, you know, its no way of explaining the hurt and the guilt that I felt. And that was the reason I cried so many nights.” – Michael Vick
“In any offense you put me in, when things break down, I’m going to get outside the pocket and move … West Coast, East Coast. It doesn’t matter. I’m taking off if I have to, to make things happen.” – Michael Vick
“It’s good to have critics because that’s what motivates you and helps you take your game to another level, They talked about Michael Jordan and said he didn’t have a jump shot. Do they say the same thing about me? I can’t throw the football and all that. Say whatever you want about me. It makes me strive harder.” – Michael Vick
“What I did, you know, being away from my family, letting so many people down. I let myself down, not being out on the football field, being in a prison bed, in a prison bunk, writing letters home, you know. That wasn’t my life.” – Michael Vick

How about spending at least one paragraph describing how these celebrities obtained their net worth, instead of merely stating it as a fact, without backing up that assertion with a little information?

How can a man be worth 70 million dollars . He was a corrupt president receiving money under the table and from companies. He was only good for himself and not for the American people. Trust no one.
