Gilda is a 1946 American FILM NOlR directed by Charles Vidor and starring Rita Hayworth, Glenn Ford and George Macready. The film is notable for choreographer Jack Cole's staging of "Put the Blame on Me" and cinematographer Rudolph Maté's photography.
In 2013, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant".
