Chris Moore of Landscape of Hampton Roads did an excellent job installing the new landscape for us. He designed the landscape plan, which was perfect for our house, installed a sprinkler system, the new plantings, and sod. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished results! He cleaned up the debris from the wind storm and got rid of the weeds that had taken over our yard. He was very professional and sent me emails every few days to update me on the progress and what was going to happen next. I frequently emailed him questions which he promptly answered. We met several times and walked around the house to discuss the landscape plan and confirm that everything was done exactly as I want it to look. He was very amiable to the few changes that I requested. The workers were very professional, on time, and courteous. His price was reasonable for all the work done. I would highly recommend Chris Moore and Landscape of Hampton Roads and will definitely continue to use him for my on-going yard maintenance

Grass Roots Lawn & Landscaping
We were looking for someone to come add some life to our front garden and take care of weekly mowing and leaf removal (in the fall). Our front yard was more dirt and weeds than grass and we had tried everything! Dana offered us 2 different turf programs with VERY reasonable pricing, which we paid in monthly installments. We were hopeful but didn’t expect much because of all the red clay. To our delight, we now have grass! We are so pleased, we’ve signed up again! His crews are prompt, professional, and gentlemen. Williams Landscaping & Design Inc
Williams Landscape was recommended to us by some friends who live in our neighborhood. We had a drainage problem in the backyard of our home and our friend, a civil engineer, had come out and assessed the situation and recommended Aaron Williams and company. Our friend told us where he thought the French drain should go. Aaron Williams came out and did an assessment of the drainage problem and came up with the exact same diagnosis as our civil engineer friend. His price for the French drain was less than we expected (about $1200) and we ended up contracting with his company to install a sprinkler system and sod in the backyard as well (about $2200.) Soon after the French drain and sod were installed, Hurricane Irene rolled through. My husband and I stood at a second floor window and watched the water disappear into an invisible line in the yard, "daylight" on the side of the house and flow down the side of our lot to the front drainage culvert as opposed to pooling in the backyard. Aaron and his company did a great job. We are in the process of getting estimates from Williams Landscape to irrigate and sod the front lawn. Highly recommend this company for drainage problems as well as general landscape needs

Meadows Farms Landscaping
Their designing appointment went okay. He was helpful in providing a real plan for the backyard design. However, if I knew how frustrating it would be in dealing with Meadows Farms customer service representative after their incomplete install, I would have not pursued the installation with their company. My experience with the Chantilly office was extremely stressful. I was charged for pruning which was not done the day of the installation and when I called the first time to get a date on when they may arrive to finish the job I was blown off with no date and a promise of call back. I waited almost a week and called again and this time the woman hung up in my face. I called the manager to complain that same day and never received a call back from him. Im still waiting for a call back on a date informing me when they will Finish the job

I WAS SOOOO HAPPY WITH THESE GUYS! WE HAD PLANNED ON USING ANOTHER LANDSCAPER WHICH TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE AND ONLY HAD 2 WEEKS TO LANDSCAPE OUR YARD FOR OUR WEDDING. THEY BROUGHT A CREW OF 3 GENTLEMAN, INCLUDING A POND EXPERT. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY SENSE. THEY SHOWED UP WITH LARGE TRUCKS AND I LOOKED LIKE THE QUEEN OF SHEBA ON MY STREET! THEY HAD THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT AND WERE VERY ORGANIZED. THE CREW WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND WELL MANNERED. THEY ALSO HAD SUPERVISORS SHOWING UP RANDOMLY TO CHECK THEIR WORK. I WAS TOLD THEY ARE TRAINED REGULARLY IN DIFFERENT CLASSES, AND TREATED VERY WELL. AFTER DAY ONE WE WERE EXCITED WITH THE RESULTS. THEY FINISHED IN 4 DAYS AND I HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL YARD I HAVE EVER SEEN. IT WAS MUCH MORE THEN WE EVER IMAGINED IT COULD BE. EVERYTHING LOOKS SO NATURAL. IT COULD BE AN AWARD WINNING YARD

A Plus Landscaping LLC.
This is our second experience with A+ Landscaping and we couldn't be happier. They took out ground cover from hillside along front side of house, added new topsoil, and graded to install Zoysia sod to match existing landscaping. Put in a French drain for runoff, installed and adjusted additional sprinkler heads, and redistributed existing rocks to limit erosion. They then removed seven bushes from rear landscaping that were 20+ years old with deep roots and installed new plants for color and hooked up to existing drip system. All done in a single day. Every member of crew was polite and professional with every encounter. Best part was that Anthony kept us informed all along the process--a real plus compared to other landscapers we've had. A+ Landscaping has my highest recommendation

Little's Landscaping
i called Little Landscaping and 2 other companies for an estimate on having my lawn seeded and what ever else was needed to make the grass grow. Jason Little came out the next day. He did a thorough evaluation of my lawn and provided 2 options for making it beautiful. The first option was for seeding. The second was for sod. We took the first option which was about $1000 less, however I believe the price for sod was reasonable if we wanted to have the beautiful yard right away. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. I chose him because he took the most time doing the evaluation, and I felt that I could trust him not to add any "unexpected" charges. Jason and his assistant spent 2 days doing the services mentioned above. They were very hard working and friendly. Jason told me just how much watering I needed to do and when to expect the grass to start to grow. I called several times with additional questions. He is knowledgable and friendly. I have recommended Little Landscaping to several friends

Peggy designed the front yard landscape for our home. She provided blue prints and worked with us and the Landscaper, The King's Garden, that did the hardscape and planting of the design for Peggy. Peggy was great to work with, to go shopping for plants for the design, for hardscape recommendations. We worked well together I thought - There was some give and take on both sides for the design and ultimately we ended up with a front yard that is all and more than we could ever have hoped for! Peggy was so knowledgeable and just a wealth of information. She understood that we wanted something out of the ordinary, not just a typical front yard landscape and we got it! We look forward to working with her again this summer on a design for the back yard. It's an exciting prospect

We had moved into our home and lived here for about a year. Of course we received the basic landscaping package just like everyone else, but wanted something more. We called the Garrett Group for an estimate and to see what we could do with our yard. They came out and walked the entire yard with us giving us many options to pick from including using some of the existing shrubbery that we already had to cut down on the cost. After making our decision on exactly what we wanted the provided us with a written estimate so that we could sit down and see exactly what we were getting for our money. After we made our decision, we gave them half the payment, they went and picked up all of our plants and trees and came and completed the work. After they were finished our yard was one of the best looking in the neighborhood

We started with sod, and with a lot of work from Total Landscape, my yard looks reasonable. I'm looking forward to how good my lawn will look within a year, since it'll get better.
