Bam Margera Releases 'Proof' Of Alleged Police Inaction After Viral Street Fight Video

Stunt-performer-turned-TV-star Bam Margera was caught on camera punching and kicking a stranger in Los Angeles last week. After the video went viral, Margera, 44, received a lot of criticism for his alleged actions. In response, Margera's representatives issued a statement saying that the stranger attacked Margera while he was out for a smoke and the 44-year-old retaliated in 'self-defense.'

Now, the 'Jackass' star has released a video on Instagram where he is seen calling 911 and seeking help from the law enforcement to fend off the 'threatening' stranger. In the video, a distraught Margera is heard talking to 911 alleging that two hours had passed since he first informed them about the situation. He claims that the law enforcement had "done nothing" to remedy it.

TMZ reported that some fans think that the 'Viva La Bam' star's street fight had something to do with a 'tattoo dispute.' However, Margera's manager, Mike Quinn, told TMZ that Margera was acting in self-defense after law enforcement denied assistance. Quinn alleged that the stranger threatened to kill Margera while the reality TV star was staying with his entourage at a property in LA last week.

"This individual, who had been pacing nearby for hours relentlessly, and causing disturbances by yelling and overturning trash cans, escalated the confrontation by punching Margera when he stepped outside to smoke," Quinn said, adding that the fight ended with no injuries and the individual eventually left Margera and his entourage alone.
