It contains alternate takes of solo's, false starts, and studio banter. It also creates the marvelous experience of being in the studio with the musicians. The bonus tracks are great as well.

Great sounding pressing, very detailed. A good cheap way to procure this banger of an album.

Excellent LP made when musicians earned their keep. With Clapton, Ian Stewart, Entwistle, others as guests, each song is a fully realized and finely crafted studio piece. With Glyn Johns production, the sound quality in the original recordings is top notch. The songs themselves are quite good, and the Townshend numbers, in particular, are among his best solo works.

A decidedly folky, acoustic collection of songs from Townshend and Lane, with numerous gems including "Misunderstood", "Street In The City", "Annie", "My Baby Gives It Away" and "Heart To Hang Onto". Guests include Charlie Watts and Eric Clapton. I love the vibe to this album, it sounds like a group of buddies gathered together at a backyard bbq. No issues with this pressing, it has a warmth and openness to the soundstage that puts you right in the mix. My copy is very clean and quiet, with no noticeable surface noise.

Large bubble on the last track of side a. Quality control anyone? I guess you need to spend $40+ on a top shelf product or it will be a crap pressing. And even then....

Anyone compare this with an early pressing ? Bla bla

I have never seen a record with a sticker indicating 200g. Is this record actually 200g? I also saw a 180g version on eBay. Is it a different product from this?

Weaves a subtle charm. Like an afternoon in a beer tent with a really cool band.
