Bianca Jagger used the zeitgeist from New York to Paris and beyond as her playground during the 1970s. She had already married Mick Jagger in an all-white tuxedo designed by Yves Saint Laurent by the time fashion caught up with her. Jagger’s audacity came as women were just beginning to wear pants as a fashion and style staple. The fashion scene embraced the Nicaraguan actress, advocate and sometimes model and her famous friends – Halston included. WWD’s lens captured Jagger’s style changes early on, including that infamous pant suit that firmly established her reputation as a fashion icon.
