Cheers to Christine Baranski on her birthday!

She played the terrific role of attorney Diane Lockhart on The Good Wife and The Good Fight but has now moved on to another delicious role on The Gilded Age.

And while she’s earned scores of Emmy nominations for her dramatic work, on the occasion of her 73rd birthday today, we celebrate the musical talents of Christine Baranski.

She, of course, starred in the two Mamma Mia movies, and also starred on stage as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and in the title role in Mame and is a two=time Tony Award winner for The Real Thing in 1984 and Rumours in 1989.

In the early days of the pandemic, she was part of a most memorable performance (with Meryl Streep and Audra MacDonald) of The Ladies Who Lunch in celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s 90th birthday.

Enjoy!
