Irish comedian Seán Burke has taken to social media to announce the death of his brother Vin.
The Dublin native, who currently resides in London, paid a touching tribute to his sibling who died over the weekend and said, ‘I loved his sense of humour most of all’.
In a heartbreaking post on Twitter, Sean wrote, ‘Breaks my heart to say that my brother Vin passed away over the weekend.
‘I loved his sense of humour most of all. He always had this mischievous glimmer in his eye to let you know he was just about to rip the piss out of you.
‘I learned from the best. RIP Vin. Love ya bro x’.
Friends and fans of the Irish star were quick to send their regards, with fellow comedian Ed Byrne writing; ‘So sorry for your loss, Sean.’
Irish singer Hozier wrote; ‘So sorry to hear about your loss, Seán. Sending good thoughts to you and your family.’
Presenter Grainne Seoige said; ‘I’m very sorry for your loss Seán and deepest sympathies to your family.’
Sean has been on the comedy scene for some time, with his previous content splitting the sides of some of Hollywood’s elite.
The Irish funnyman has previously worked with Channel 4 on an online series called ‘Hollywood Hijack’ which caught the eyes of some of Tinsel Town’s biggest names.
His show has previously featured the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Jessica Chastain, Emily Blunt, and most notably Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, who both ended up tweeting about the comedian and his content, describing him as, ‘beyond priceless!’
However, he is best known for his comedy sketches on social media. Whether parody, impressions or satire, his material has gained an impressive following on all platforms.
