The hotel was clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable . The breakfast was good with all the normal stuff, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, hash browns. They also had waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea and breakfast bars. Price was reasonable. Overall a good place to stay.

I was please with the room but disappointed that it was not the room we normally stay. This particular room was not as handicap friendly as other rooms we have stayed in at this hotel. To get my son into the bathroom we had to open the bathroom door completely then push his wheelchair into the bathroom. It was kind of awkward but we made it work.

The best place to stay in town. Hotel needs A LOT of repairs and is showing signs of wear., Everything else in town is a total DUMP! The staff was very helpful in trying to make the guest

Staff was very polite and so was housekeeping. They are very glad to answer questions and assist in anyway possible to accomodate all guest. I will put this place as a preferred place to stay in Hondy TX. Keep up the great work.

There was banging of the elevator and people letting there doors slam shut All night long. Did not get any sleep at all. The breakfast was bad also, It consisted of an apple, orange, Blueberry muffin and a little container of hot sauce. Will not be coming back.

I almost never stay at Best Westerns, and this trip reminded me why. First of all they "lost" my reservation that had already been paid for. It took over four hours to get it figured out which is unacceptable. Luckily I called to confirm on my way and wasn't left sitting there. The front desk clerk was nice enough, but looked confused and was wearing a dirty torn t-shirt. The hotel itself doesn't appear to old, but not in the best shape. It's probably still the nicest hotel in Hondo. But I'd recommend staying somewhere else and driving in if neccesary.

This hotel is FILTHY! Luckily, we arrived late in the evening and couldn't really see the outside appearance, but the lobby, the hallways and our room were so obviously dirty. There was something dried and disgusting on the wall behind one nightstand that appeared to be old vomit. We were in town for a funeral and arrived late at night and left early the next morning, but we will NEVER stay in this hotel or another Best Western again.

The staff here is horrible. We arrived, after driving 6 hours, to be told our reservations for all three rooms were canceled. Then she rebooks, but we are billed at a higher rate and for two nights instead of one, even though we checked out and turned in our keys! Too bad this is the only hotel.

The hotel could use some updates but it is the best place to stay in Hondo by leaps and bounds. The room was not as impeccably furnished/clean as I prefer but given the other options in Hondo, it was acceptable.
The upholstered chair was ripped open on the seat and it was covered in a stain of some unknown substance. I didn't need to sit in it so I avoided it. Other than that, the bed was comfortable but not like home.
The sweet lady at the front desk, Petra, was outstanding. She was friendly, bright and enjoyable to speak to. She was extremely polite and considerate and seemed to genuinely care about the guests, which I appreciated most of all.

Nice inside and out. Cool and very clean. Restaurants in the vicinity. Close to the freeway safe location. Breakfast is provided and comfy bed. It looks well kept. Toiletries provided and warm shower too. Snacks for sale. I will be back when passing through Hondo, Tx. Thanks for keeping up the hotel! It makes people want to come back.
