I was superbly happy with CF Seamless. I live about two hours from where the project was performed and have had, in the past, an extremely hard time finding contractors who performed well in all aspects. Before finding CF Seamless on Angie's List, I contacted a number of residents in the community where I wanted to have the work done. Although I got some recommendations, the leads were all dead ends. I then signed up on Angie's List and found three contractors well rated by people using Angie's List. I eventually chose these three to get bids from and decided to go with CF Seamless, although I think the other two would have done good work. CF Seamless was the middle priced bidder. One bid was much higher and another was slightly lower, however, the lower bidder was not as responsive. CF Seamless was super responsive to calls, very prompt, professional, and fast. CF Seamless wanted to do the work even though we have had bad weather this winter. When I arrived on site for the project CF Seamless was set up and ready to go. I was very happy with the way the entire job was completed. Fred (owner) was very easy to contact and returned my calls promptly. Three men arrived when promised and completed the job that day. I had them do an extra gutter on a shed and a special water shield where there were no gutters. Fred even called later in the day to find out if I was happy with the job. Great company to work with and all of my neighbors have commented on how nice they look The only negative was that they do not dispose of the old gutters. A.O.K Seamless Guttering owner was very responsive, returned initial phone call within hours and was at home when he said he would be to provide estimates. This was a HUGE selling point for me as I am located in SW Virginia and the responsiveness of businesses in there is area leaves you waiting and waiting! The team arrived on the exact day they specified and were done within hours. Very easy to talk to and detail oriented. They answered all my product questions without hesitation and completed the job to my specifications. I can be picky, ask my husband...sometimes that is an understatment. Also, the cost comparisons I obtained were well within range of what I was charged for the work they performed. I would recommened them in a minute. They also do metal roofing work and vinyl siding. Because of Hurricane Sandy dropping a tree on the corner of our house, Davis Construction estimated and repaired the damage outside and inside. Since the Hurricane was in Oct., repairs weren't started until April because of the winter weather. They were a small but efficient crew completing the work within a week. Since repairs were started 6+ months after the storm, some of the projected work was not necessary, and we were able to lower the price. One of the most impressive moments, was when Mr. Davis went to "bat" with our insurance adjuster insisting that since he, the adjuster, was not familiar with mountain living and therefore unfamiliar with costs for certain repairs, etc. The adjuster finally relented and we were able to receive more money from the insurance company for our repairs. We really appreciated his support and dedication to getting us the money we were entitled to. We will definitely be using Davis Construction for more to-do things around the houseshow more

The entire project went extremely well. Mike showed up on time for the estimate which was a great start. 1 contractor I called never showed up at all and the other showed up 3 hours late. Mike & his crew came in on the day we had scheduled on time & worked like a fine oiled team. They had my roof completely torn off within 3 hours. Me & my daughter were simply amazed at the speed in which that was done. They installed our new roof the same day & it looks great. The following day Mike & his crew returned the following day to remove & install our new siding & gutters. Over the next 2 days they worked steady & the end result was more then we could have expected. Our yard was cleaner after all the work & they cleaned up then before. Absolutely the best contractor experience we have ever had & plan on having Mike back to paint the interior of our home soon. Mike was referred to me by a Co-Worker at Mary Washington Hospital. Ronnie Owen is an outstanding contractor with many years in the roofing business who was referred to me for gutter and gutter guard installation after I had a new metal roof installed. I now live outside the area but Mr. Owen kept in communication throughout the process, quickly responding to my initial phone call, giving me a very fair estimate for new 6-inch seamless gutters with Micro Mesh Supreme leaf guards and downspouts (and carefully explaining my other options and their pros and cons), and completing the work when promised. Mr. Owen texted me photos of the final results and I had the chance to visit my property in-person thereafter - he did a flawless job. I was so impressed with Mr. Owen's timeliness, workmanship, and communications that I hired him for another job unrelated to his gutter business. I had two jobs scheduled with Davenport Insulation. The first was to get insulation blown into my uninsulated garage walls. Two men and a truck showed up to do the work. They were polite and fine, but kept telling me how it was a new truck and that they had to keep turning the pressure down. One of them was frequently on the inside of my garage pushing against the drywall. Not having this done before I didn't know if this was standard procedure. After they left I discovered that about 40% of my dry wall was blown off the studs. I have had to go back and screw the drywall back in place. My salesman, a guy named Mark, quoted me a price on seamless gutters. We scheduled a date. I called the day before to confirm I was on the schedule. He said I was. The next day no one showed. I called the office and they said I was never on the schedule. I tried to contact Mark several more times to no avail and was then told he had been replaced by Levi. I have been told 4 times by both office staff, a supervisor, and Levi, different dates where my work would be done. They have no showed on every single one. I started this process in February, it is now August and I still don't have gutters. Amendment to my review written on 24Aug2018: Even though I had asked to speak to a supervisor on my last contact with Davenport Insulation in Winchester, I was never contacted by them until I wrote this review. Mike E. contacted me within a week of this review being posted and I now have gutters. He assured me that this was an oversight brought on by my salesperson leaving and that this is not how they normally treat their customers.
