- Susan B20 contributionsSo much history! So interesting to see, highly recommend. Staff very knowledgable and so friendly. Went on a rainy cold day…and played in the puddles. I am glad the weather did not deter me from going. I could picture my Dad and Uncles who served in WWII on that ship!Written May 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - stanginaOswego, NY202 contributionsHave been in the building many times, but never taken a tour. Went on noon tour - highly recommended. Great guide with lots of knowledge. Saw both chambers, governor's area, the famous staircases and a description of the two architects who designed the building in two very different contrasting styles.
Highly recommend the on; hour tours at 10, noon and 2 pm.Written May 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The art of the Native Americans from New York, especially from the Iroquois Confederacy, was featured in a tremendously varied and interesting exhibit. Being from Utica ourselves, we loved the Henry Di Spirito exhibit... beautiful group. There are many technological, historical and natural history exhibits if that's your preference. Don't miss my uncle's rock contributions in the Geology collection!Written April 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Judy V17 contributionsThe tour was worth it because it was reasonably priced, the guide was knowledgeable, and the tour did not just force Alexander Hamilton and his wife. Some areas in the neighborhood did look questionable but I would not let that stop me from visiting again.Written May 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RNS1983Binghamton, NY225 contributionsI was pleasantly impressed by this museum. I was on a work trip and had to burn a few hours during the day. The well dressed gentleman working the front desk was incredibly excited to tell me about the museum and all its exhibits. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything there and took the time to ensure I saw certain things. Upon finishing, I visited the gift shop. In my mind, gift shops are usually full of junk made in China that is just a gimmick to get money. Pleasantly surprised, their gifts and products were very well thought out. Many local items, many items from local artists and very intricate things. I spent well over $120.Written May 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The museum is nearby and the parks is a great place for people watching.Written September 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - shimmyonthegoLondon, Canada49 contributionsOn a very hot day in May, Washington Park was a perfect place to visit. The 'Park Lake' and water feature, and the many trees helped create a very relaxing and cooling experience. The water was so clear you easily see the fish in the lake. Tulips were still in bloom. Many pathways for walking, and places to park for ease of access in the park. Lots of benches to sit and reflect.Written July 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dambankerToronto, Canada1,742 contributionsCame here in the morning, pretty cool place, definitely felt futuristic and different. The Egg was the most interesting. Didn't have enough time to explore the Museum unfortunately, next time. I had no idea this was here just came across while doing a walkabout, very happy that I did find it. Highly recommend coming here.

The Visitor Center is worth the trip by itself, with lots of interesting exhibits and excellent restrooms. The trails are varied, rolling ups and downs with unique views. If you are lucky, you will see Karner Blue Butterflies.Written August 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - aansPickering, Canada10 contributionsIt's a mall, like any other mall. Has some stores that are unique to it, like primark and lego store. Would choose this mall over others in the area.Written July 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SGP613Ottawa, Canada10 contributionsGreat historical venue. Interesting to learn not only about the Underground Railroad and the roles of Stephen and Harriet Myers, but also got to learn about the museum project itself. A lot of really important historical artifacts.Written March 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
