Great 50 mtr pool for swimming competitions, spectators viewing gallery is very good.
There is a nice indoor cafe where you can purchase food and drink and also plenty of room for parking as there are a number of car parks available with the bonus that there is no charge for Sunday parking.

Extensive series of garden rooms clustered around the old house. Beautiful magnolias, bluebells, pots of tulips made a great display. Well worth visiting.

Nice garden centre tho seems a bit of a jumble inside. Cafe is very nice but at £2.45 for a cup tea that expensive nice atmosphere. On paying at the till the one assistant was wrapping up boxes with Xmas paper and when finally left that to serve us seemed quite sullen. No hello or smile .we felt we were a nuisance if anything. First thing in customer service is greeting customers with a smile and being welcoming. At Xmas time especially I think this should be a very important part of staff training .sadly lacking today.

A few reviews saying this place isn’t for beginners. True. But if you were going skiing you wouldn’t start on black runs. This place is the best place in Europe for skaters boarders and BMX. French national scooter champion there and BMX chayden (who? Ask your 12 year old). Incredible place for the more experienced, and great coaching sessions too with top notch team.

Food is passable burger stuff done ok, but if you go there for the food then you’ve missed the point.

For parents/ watchers it’s a long day - big asda nearby to get Better cheaper food and a massive gym (cave gym) if you’re allowed to leave then for a bit.

We’d be regulars of it wasn’t 2 hours plus away (14 year old scooterer)

Excellent value for tots. We love to come during quieter sessions and use the under 4s area. Sadly, older kids DO go in despite signs saying not to: I’d like to say the onus is on their parents but it would be nice to see staff saying something to discourage this.
The new play frame has really lifted the place which has seemed recently in need of a facelift.
Despite being a fan of Tigers, I’m disappointed with today (12th Aug) as it’s a very hot day and we were hoping it’d be cooler in there for a safe, sunless play. Unfortunately, it was more like an oven. I saw only one door open. Cold drinks tap broken, slushies machine broken, no ice… It didn’t strike me as particularly safe- there were very red and sweaty children running around and the higher up the frames they went, the hotter it got. I really feel this is something Tigers could improve- it hasn’t put me off going again! 👍🏻

Been on and off to this cafe over last few years.. always enjoyed it..was disappointed when it closed down but first visit today under new management..love the decor, plenty of comfy seating, and really good menu. I happened to arrive when a child had locked themselves in a car in car park on a hot day and heard the cafe staff went to help. The lady on the counter was doing all orders and til work on her own and it got so busy but she kept her cool and did really well. The food arrived promptly despite the problems and served by really polite server. Food was good ..well worth a visit and support a much loved cafe.

Today, we enjoyed a well kept park and great cafe facilities. We took our Springer with us who became ill at the end of the walk. The Warden was so helpful in unlocking the gate so that we could drive close and helped lift Iggy into our car to take to the vet. It was his heart failure that finally finished him at the vets! Thank you so much for helping in his welfare.

If you are interested in some of the lesser-known aspects of 2nd war aviation, this is a great place to visit. Like all the best museums it is full of *stuff* rather than pictures of stuff, which you can see on the interwebs, and also staffed by people who are interested in what the museum is about and happy to talk about it.

And the story it tells is really astonishing.

I was sad the Thor / cold war section was closed as this is something I'm interested in, but I understand this is due to illness, so unavoidable.

More genuine history of a town that is under sold. Apparently there’s a rumour the council which went bust recently due to poor management may sell this historic building in the heart of a poorly represented town to help cash flow. Northampton Council and Planners ripped the history out of itself in the 1970’s and it looks like it may continue.

A fun afternoon’s experience with my teenage son - we shared an Alpaca between us as I was just ‘accompanying’ ticket to keep the costs down. This worked well.
They are delightful creatures, each with their own names & personalities. We had lots of handling time & were advised how best to stroke them & get a ‘cuddle’.
Hosts were friendly & informative, plus helpful when one or two of them got a bit skittish.
    Really good experience.

You have to take your hat off to the volunteers who maintain this museum.Full of railway nostalgia. They even have a couple of hundred yards of railway track with some old carriages waiting eternally for passengers.
You can park in Asda just over the road
