Edward Sault

Edward is one of our Presenters and Reporters for BBC South Today. He can often be found out and about across the south filming and editing his own stories or working with camera crews.

Ed is also perfectly at home in the South Today studio delivering the south’s news stories and interviewing the newsmakers of the day and says he relishes the feeling of being live on air.

Ed was born and bred in the Channel Islands but now lives in a corner of the New Forest which he loves. When not at work Ed is more than likely to be found in the water. He’s a keen pool and open water swimmer and likes to swim in the sea off Christchurch.

Ed has also taken up spinning – he says he’s not very good at it but he loves it.
