And has apparently done the same with the legendary Reed.
Taking to his social media account on Twitter, Reed revealed his appreciation for the rookie from Florida State having reached out to touch base with a star who came before him ... who did things in Buffalo that Keon can now aspire to.
Reed’s message to the public is below ...
Wrote Reed: "Keon already texted me about how to make major moves in Buffalo. He’s not playing around. He respects those who came before him. Sign of a guy that’s all in , humble-ready to work. ...
"Ball's in the air he goes and gets it. Open like 7eleven.''
Keon certainly did show some of those attributes in college, and he's got the endorsement of QB Josh Allen already as well. Does this mean Super Bowls and Hall of Fame, like it did for the immortal Reed? Not yet. But ...
The present digs him. The past digs him. Now Keon simply needs to absorb the lessons ... and go and get it.
