Philippine Airlines (PR) is the flag carrier of the country of the Philippines. With its subsidiary PAL Express (2P), the airline flies to about 75 destinations within the Philippines, as well as points elsewhere in Asia, and in Australia, the South Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and North America. The airline's primary hub is located at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in Manila and its secondary hub is at Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) in Cebu. Its fleet consists of two-class (First Class and Economy Class) and three-class (First Class, Business Class and Economy Class) cabins. PAL Express features one-cabin (Economy Class) and two-cabin (Premium Economy Class and Economy Class) configurations.

I've flown dozens of airlines and millions of miles, much of it international. Philippine Airlines is probably the worst airline I've flown. Certainly the worst international airline. The seats are garbage. There's no inflight entertainment- it didnt work on 3 of 4 flights. The food is meh. Flights are frequently delayed. The crews are not friendly. It's just terrible.

Philippines airline is the absolute worst. Although I was entitled to 2 check bags I only checked one. To my surprise they charged me an extra 200.00 USD. I didn’t purchase anything while in the Philippines and left back gifts because I didn’t want be charged extra. It’s always something with them. They had me wait nearly 30 minutes just to pay as they allow locals in to skip. Never again

I used PAL as my airline for my vacation this year. However, I noticed a delay from the beginning of my flight. During my layover in Singapore, my flight was rescheduled. Now, as I'm flying back to Dubai, we were informed of a 4-hour delay with short notice. Then, without any announcement or proper information given to the passengers, while checking at the flight board there was an additional 2 and 1/2 hours of delay to our flight. The staff at the counter were not very helpful. When I asked for a meal and water due to the long delay, they informed me that food was available. However, when I approached the counter, they were gossiping and not assisting. One staff member even told me there was no more food and to just take water before returning his back to me and returning to gossip with colleagues. I was taken aback by his behavior, especially considering they knew about the flight delays. They mentioned that a light snack would be provided later, but it seemed they should have been aware of how many passengers there were to ensure enough meals. Their lack of empathy in light of the delay was disappointing.

Changed my flight schedule 5 times. Total of 4 flights for trip, every single one was delayed. Ran out of food options. I will never fly this airline again.
