Danube is nice for a stroll with many watering holes to stop in while walking you have lots of boats offering food and also night meals by night it's all lit up and looks lovely so don't miss stroll along the danube

We had an evening tour of the Danube in Budapest courtesy of Legenda tours.Having visited some of the attractions during the day,I must confess that seeing the same sites from the river in the evening put a completely different perspective on the experience and the commentary that accompanied the cruise was very informative and in retrospect I wish we had done the cruise on our first night.

There is a lovely promenade alongside the river but when all is said and done it is a river. Excpet that the buildings along it are amazing - especially at night when lit up. Well worth a boat trip.
