BANNED from r/prostatitis for sharing Bacterial Prostatitis/CPPS story. Please rule out infection with proper testing prior to taking CPPS as a final diagnosis. Pos Microgen test saved me. Moderators (webslave) are banning, discrediting, and removing all information regarding Bacterial Prostatitis

Got banned from r/prostatitis r/ProstatitisCPPS today for “insults” when in reality what I did was tell my story about my chronic bacterial prostatitis only to be met with criticism and disrespect from the moderators (take a look at the comments in the post they deleted before they banned me: .https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/comments/p7k94v/i_beat_prostatitis_4_times_each_time_positive/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

I had several microgen dx semen NGS test pick up bacteria (that urine culture and PCR missed) and was successfully treated with the correct antibiotic for complete symptom relief.

I have also had non-bacterial CPPS or Pelvic floor dysfunction which resolved with stretches and exercise, so I know about how real holding stress and tension in your pelvic region is.

All I am advocating for is to please rule out infection with the proper testing prior to taking CPPS as a final diagnosis.

So many of the people here in these forums will just tell you “it’s CPPS forget bacteria” but I can tell you from experience bacteria especially ones that embed themselves in biofilm are real and can play a significant role in prostatitis/cpps.

I have experienced both non bacterial CPPS and bacterial prostatitis over my many years of dealing with this disease, I have been under the treatment of the chief Urologist in my region for over 4 years now who recommended this test and it has saved me from suffering from symptoms many times over

Webslave and the mods in r/Prostatitis and r/ProstatitisCPPS are having a major power trip and are incapable of embracing facts and opinions other than their own. The actively discredit, ban, and remove any information relating to Bacterial Prostatitis. Several others in the community have reached out to me to comment on them banning members and using reddit to discredit bacterial suffers all while shamelessly promoting their website.

I know this isn't directly related to Pelvic floor dysfunction but in my case it was. On several occasions I tested positive for a bacterial infection, had acute symptoms (burning urination, perennial pain, nocturia, urgency, bladder pain, etc), was treated, 90% symptoms gone, tested negative only to have perennial pain, nocturia, and urgency linger for months after that only resolved with PT. And no it was not an antibiotic anti inflammatory response. I went from burning urination using a doughnut to sit down to 90% symptom relief within days of using the correct antibiotic.

I hope this posts helps someone since thats all I originally came here to do, but instead I've been exiled from the community I've been posting in for years trying to help fellow sufferers.

-Wishing everyone good health-

Edit: Any further commentary trying to discredit my story will be ignored. I won’t justify my results to anyone here but a licensed medical professional. I am here to share my story and results, nothing more.
