- Adventure DivaManchester, CT2,528 contributionsWhether you are strolling the walks listening to the outside music or Summer/Fall concerts, Evergreen Walk is a good thing for shopping, eating or just being outside. Unfortunately shops have closed and Whole Foods will be a good addition in 2022.Written August 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dustythoughtsManchester, CT2,118 contributionsThis small, incredibly lovely local library is a wonderful place for all manner of community events. We came here for their annual gingerbread house festival, and we were super impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the pleasant, welcoming layout of the library. This library is on the smaller side and is almost a hundred years old, so you can feel the building's age a bit despite it being very well-preserved. There's an interesting variety of stuffed birds, rare antique furniture, and Native American artifacts on display as well. There's a small paved parking lot around back.Written December 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - albert i1 contributionPuzzle Theory has several differently themed escape rooms, we did Jungle 2, which was very fun and interactive. The difficulty level was appropriate, and the story was creative.Written April 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - helpsavethehumansHartford, CT3 contributionsWent to an event. It was packed—standing room only—but the wait time for beverages was still good. If it wasn't freezing out, I'd gladly have sat outside. Someone else here complained about the price of a four-pack being $17, but $15-$20 is the going rate for a four-pack of craft beer at any brewery in this area, especially if they're the tall 16-oz cans. So I think the prices are on par and reasonable.Written January 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Larissa MSouth Windsor, CT165 contributionsThis is a great park that offers so much! Playground for kids, trails for jogging/walking/bicycling, dog park, large fields for sports, skate/rollerblading park, seating for picnics, large pavillion for gatherings, spots in sun and in the shade. Very well maintained by the parks and rec department.Written February 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adventure DivaManchester, CT2,528 contributionsLocated at the Shops @ Evergreen Walk, I am glad there is now a WF close by. Went opening day (1/17/24) and three other times. Found the store to be bright, orderly and clean. Staff was helpful and I liked the layout much better than the Glastonbury or Blue Back Square/West Hartford stores. There are wider aisles, you're not bumping into the "end caps" and the layout was well thought out. In their "Kitchen" area, I tried the Entree (grilled salmon) and two sides take-out option and was not disappointed. There are other protein options you can select from. I'll be back.Written January 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Downtown_OneConnecticut203 contributionsDesmond pond is worth to check out in South Windsor, CT and great place for kids to connect with wildlife - ducks and others birds. The platform built out to the pond brings you close to wildlife and at times can be loaded with foul droppings (the Town discourages feeding to cut down on that). In any event, it's a lovely place and worth a stop.Written December 12, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
