Director Sean Byrne – the man behind THE LOVED ONES and THE DEVIL’S CANDY is heading out to sea for his third feature film foray.
This one sounds truly unique – blending a serial killer film – with some sharksploitation fun. The project is titled DANGEROUS ANIMALS and the synopsis is an entertaining breakdown:
“Zephyr, described as a savvy and free-spirited surfer, is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer. Held captive on his boat, she must figure out how to escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks below.
“The only person who realizes she is missing is new love interest Moses, who goes looking for Zephyr, only to be caught by the deranged murderer as well.”
Hassie Harrison, Jai Courtney, and Josh Heuston have all signed up to star.
