journey to the west conquering the demons and journey to the west Demons Strikes Back , Both were super good having comedy and some seriousness(Here and there) But It feels disappointing that here is not an proper ending movie, Before someone says "IT WAS A PROPER ENDING IN MOVIE 2" let me say this , in movie 2's end we saw that he could actually talk to 'Duan(Main Girl)' so i thought that in movie 3 there will be more interactions between them BUT NO there is NOT A MOVIE 3. i just wanted to know if there is a possibility that movie 3 can happen or not. JTTW 1 was MY ONE OF THE FAV MOVIE back in the days , and we didn't had access to internet like today so i just saw a CD in my attic to throw and there was JTTW written on it , just saw both movies and wanted Information about it. Because now there are many different types of monkey king related movies.

The conquering demons line sadly might come to a halt. The conquering demons line was produced by Stephen chow which is a very talented director. He tried to cast huang Bo in 3 again ( he played in conquering demons) but the actor refused saying the theme was being milked out to harshly. Plus the actor got Tripitaka in demon strikes back is now in jail. Of course changing of the actor was a common occurrence anyway. But sad truth is I doubt it will happen. I hope I’m wrong lol. As for monkey king movies. 2 and 3 were great and a 4th one is said to come with the theme as fire mountain.
Are they working on a 4th? That’s exciting! Is there any news of when that will come? Is Kwok returning?
More than likely though it’s not confirmed. I’m not sure if they begin production but I know it’s definitely out there. Since it was teased at the end of monkey king 3
Awesome! I feel like it’s been a few years since a big budget JTTW movie. We were getting a lot for a while so I understand why they might have taken a break. I’ve watched some of the smaller TV ones made the last few years that are cheesy but still interesting to me.
I think Chinese movie maker doesn't know how to make profit on success ot a franchise like Hollywood do. Jttw and monkey king are some of most successful movies but left without any future return.

Stephen Chow wrote the Monkey King animated movie on Netflix, and there was a rumor of it becoming a series at one point. I don’t know what is happening now tho.
