<p>Frank Haynes, age 93, a resident of Naperville since 1973, passed away May 3, 2024. He was born on October 8, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Pat Haynes; his loving daughters, Patti Martin, Mary Haynes, Beth (Greg) DeGeeter, and Sue (Rob) Godsey; his cherished grandchildren, Kevin Martin, Laura Ritter, Scott DeGeeter, Michael DeGeeter, Sarah DeGeeter and six great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brian Martin; his parents, Joseph and Henrietta Haynes; and his siblings, Thomas, Mary, Joseph, Richard (Frank’s twin).&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Frank and his brother Richard were members of the first graduating class of Delbarton School, a Benedictine institution in Morristown, NJ. After graduating he proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Frank was a very active member of Judd Kendall VFW Post. He served for countless years as precinct committeeman in Naperville, and everyone knew his license “Naper 22”. A devout catholic, Frank was a former member of SS. Peter &amp; Paul Church and a founding member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. He enjoyed Tootsie Rolls, Candy Corn and a cold beer at The Lantern.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Frank’s life, memorial donations may be directed to Judd Kendall VFW Post #3873, 908 Jackson Ave., Naperville, IL 60540.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 3:00-7:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. All are welcome to gather for the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 10, 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville. Interment will be private.&nbsp;</p>
