Race 1

5-4-6-3

(#5) Highland Kismet had quite a tardy beginning last week after being off 21 days, but was absolutely flying late. He shouldn’t get away eighth this week and should have every chance to roll by at a short price.

Race 2

8-3-2-1

(#8) P L Rachel has grinded out two fourth place finishes since returning. She got better as last year went on, looking for improvement here. Could use gate speed.

Race 3

3-7-6-2

(#3) Bettorholdontight was 6-5 last time at Flamboro but broke when getting into the action. He returns to the big track where he can flex his late kick to greater effect. Macdonald is back on.

Race 4

7-1-3-2

(#7) PL Robert G got a much better trip last week and improved nearly two seconds for his first win. He did get some help when Vanjie Blue Chip bore out into the seven path but it was still a good effort from him. He steps up to NW2 and should offer a more than fair price this week.

Race 5

4-2-5-6

(#4) Billie Jean Queen gets away from R Liza and Willy’s Home Run and adds Lasix this week. Should have plenty of chances here.

Race 6

8-3-4-6

(#8) Hungry Hill probably cruises if he stays flat. Million dollar question is can he?

Race 7

6-7-4-3

(#6) Sue Anne got a fine prep last week for tonight’s stake action. This is not a deep bunch. She was a main player in the Grassroots last season and will be a multi-leg single for me.

Race 8

4-6-5-1

(#4) Blue Glamber was forced to take back last week and was doomed from there. Roy won with her two back and now she has a better post. Looking for a bounce back effort.

Race 9

9-3-1-8

(#9) Northern Looker was an impressive debut winner. Once CC fed him racetrack, he stormed down the center of the track without much urging. Curious about tactics from post nine, but he was too good last week to pick against here.

Race 10 + multis

8-6-7-1-4

(#8) Fancy Lettering was a hard fought second on debut after getting interfered with early and moving first over. Looking for a little gate speed from post eight and a potential cleaner trip.
