His most known singles are "Animals," "In the Name of Love," and "Scared to be Lonely." He was ranked number one on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list for three consecutive years (2016, 2017, and 2018). Garrix was discovered by Tiësto, whom he described as inspirational, humble, and legendary. Garrix launched his own record label called Stmpd Rcrds in 2016.

He garnered international attention with his December 2013 remix of the track "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, and his March 2015 single "Firestone". In late 2015, Kygo became the fastest artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify and by June 2016, he had reached 2 billion streams on Spotify. He made history at the 2016 Rio Olympics when he became the first house music producer to perform at an Olympics closing ceremony. In March 2018, Billboard ranked Kygo 3rd on its 2018 ranking of dance musicians titled Billboard Dance 100. In 2018 he was ranked 32 on DJ Mag's top 100 DJs of the world. Kygo has studied piano since he was 6 years old and considers himself more of a pianist than a disc jockey. His music is generally around 100 beats per minute, compared to 128 beats per minute for traditional house music.

His journey began as a teenager when he started DJing at a local club in Breda.     Major Lazer is an electronic music project created by American DJ and record producer Diplo initially collaborating with English DJ/producer Switch. The two parted ways in late 2011. Diplo has since enlisted producers/DJs Jillionaire and Walshy Fire to help with the production and live shows. Their music spans numerous genres, usually fusing reggae and dancehall music with dance genres such as moombahton and electro house. On August 4, 2017, Rezazadeh released her debut studio album, Mass Manipulation; and a year later, Rezz dropped its follow-up album Certain Kind of Magic in 2018. Rezz is profiled in the 2020 documentary film Underplayed, and performed a DJ set following the film's Canadian premiere at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival.     Dash Berlin is a Dutch EDM music project created in 2007 by Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg, and Sebastiaan Molijn. The front man of the group is the DJ Jeffrey Sutorius, the 10th most popular DJ in the world according to DJ Mag in 2013. Sutorius initially started playing drums influenced by his late father who was a drummer in a jazz band, before discovering electronic music. He worked at BPM Dance and Mid-Town Records specializing in vinyl, with both stores becoming meeting places for many established Dutch DJ's.
