Quick Links
You order so much stuff from Amazon, it's tough to keep track of it all. If you need to go back through your history to find something you've ordered before, you can scroll through pages and pages of items you've bought, but that's tedious. Instead, use the order search history.
Searching through your order history is useful if you need to reorder something that you don't buy regularly enough for Amazon's Subscribe and Save. It's also handy if you want to find the product page for something you've bought when you need to look up specs or check some detail about your stuff.
How to Search Your Amazon Order History on a PC
To search your Amazon order history, open Amazon on the web and click "Returns & Orders" in the top right corner.
Just above your list of previous orders, you'll see a search box. Enter your search terms in this box and click "Search Orders," or hit Enter.
Your search results will appear in a list below the search box.
On each result, you'll find links to buy the product again, write a review, archive your order, and even get support for the product if it's available.
Search Your Amazon Order on Android or iOS
To search for an Amazon order on your mobile device, make sure you have the Amazon app installed from the Apple Store (iPhones or iPads) or the Google Play Store (Android devices). Open it up, then tap the silhouette of a person or the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the bottom of your screen.
Whichever you select, you next need to tap "Your Orders" at the top. The two screens look slightly different, but both have a Your Orders option.
There are two search bars on the next screen; it is important that you use the bottom one beneat "Your Orders." The top one searches the entire Amazon website.
Once you search, you'll be taken to a Your Results page, which lists every item you've ordered that matches your search criteria. This will even display results from your archived orders, so don't count on archiving an order to hide it.
Just like on the desktop, you can buy an item again, or tap the arrow to get more information about your order.
