Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Gill B3 contributionsBattle of Britain tour was excellent - we had a knowledgeable tour guide who was able to bring the planes’ stories to life and answer our (many) questions. We’ve previously also done the Cold War tour which we would also recommend.
The exhibits are effectively displayed and the free entry makes this a value for money day out.Written 29 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We particularly enjoyed feeding the lorakeets and the bird show was just incredible! It was fantastic to see such beautiful and rare birds fly so freely. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat to you about the animals.
We were there for about 5 hours as so much to do on the site to as it is within a craft centre and vineyards with a lovely restaurant, and ice cream stall.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The house was just as lovely but this time we managed to explore the rest of the grounds, we weren’t disappointed.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Neil ECoventry, UK22 contributionsVisited last year and returned this year. A fantastic NT site with a Royal history. If you’re a little bored of yet another Palladian mansion with 100’s of acres of parkland and thin on history this is definitely something different. The guided tour around this more compact of National Trust properties by Tim (NT Guide) really brought a great story to life. Tim was engaging and informative and I’m beginning to really appreciate having a tour guide rather than wandering aimlessly around skimming across oil paintings of some Aristocrat’s overfed family members or their porcelain collection.
Definitely recommend a visit. For a couple of hours it’s possible to forget it’s the 21st century with the UK’s 2nd city only a few miles down the roadWritten 25 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Whether having cake and coffee or lunch and a glass of wine it is always consistent. Not challenging food but well done and presented. And then there are the gardens to walk in.Written 25 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TheLeopard79Birmingham, UK1,317 contributionsA gorgeous place to visit and a must see whenever I visit Wolverhampton.
The art works are second to none there's much memorabilia very provincial in a way however it does not detract from the beautiful building the beautiful grounds and of course the wonderful staff will work here.
Thank you again for another lovely visit.Written 24 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - juleswbawest bromwich7 contributionsExcellent - we went to see 12 Angry Men at the matinee today. Play its self was brilliant but what made our day was the service from the staff they were amazing so welcoming and helpful. You go so many places and people have lost the meaning of customer service but the Grand has it 5 star 🤩Also the theatre had a make over since we last went which was lovely. We would recommend to anyone to pay a visit there.Written 8 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Raj BhaiWolverhampton, UK13 contributionsIt’s a beautiful park, there is a lake in the middle with a lot of wildlife, I was feeding the ducks off the bridge, when I noticed a distinctive green coloured bird, and there they were, the Indian ring necked parakeets, they do live and breed in this park, you have to listen out for there distinctive call, amazing birds which have climatizad to the British weather.Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WolverhamptonDaveWolverhampton38 contributionsA surprise 80th birthday present and a most enjoyable experience. Our guide, Peter Crump, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in football and especially Wolves and the museum brought back many memories from yesteryear.Written 29 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
