Just rewatched legacy for first time since release

WOW! How was this movie not a runaway hit !? Amazing in every way. Storywize I had tears. Technically amazing. Visually entrancing. Casting on point. What happened!? This movie is so good even without 3d it launched with. Wow what a great movie. I am totally looking forward to Ares!

It makes me so sad that the two leads haven't been confirmed for the new movie even when Jeff Bridges already had. Would love to see the progress they've made in the time between movies

Yeah I know :(. We will have to wait and see what they do.

I’ve been watching the Blu-ray every now and then, nothing will ever beat the amazing experience that was watching this movie in IMAX 3D back in the day… But I agree, Legacy is so well made from beginning to end. Every Tron title pushes the technical limits of cinema (I mean, the time gap definitely plays a role), and honestly, I have high expectations/hopes for Tron Ares. “This is going to be quite a ride”.

Yeah, when I heard they were making TA I was like, cool and the weeks of the behind the scenes filming images that came out got me interested in watching TL again. Now that I have, I am totally stoked for the new one! I'm definitely going to be watching Legacy a couple more times before it comes out.

I loved it too

The one and only issue I have with it is the same one Jeff Bridges has - the de-aging tech wasn't there. It fit when CLU was a digital creation, but that opening scene with kid Sam is rough. That being said, this movie confirmed my obsession with the series. Absolutely love it start to finish.

Yeah, I agree on that point. I watched it again this weekend with friends who I went with theatres on it's original run. They didn't remember it much but also absolutely love it and agree the special affects other than the de-aging, hold up today.
