Oleg Teterin was born on 1 December 1975 and lives in Moscow.
In 1998, he graduated from the producing faculty of the Department of Management of Performing Arts of the Russian University of Theatre Arts. In 2007, he graduated from the Production Faculty of the Gnessin Music Academy. He has produced remixes of the soundtracks of the Soviet Films Ivan Vasilievich: Back to the Future; Kidnapping, Caucasian Style; and The Diamond Arm. He is also the head of the Russian DJs project. From 1996 to 1999, Teterin was the CEO of the Stantsiya 106.8 FM radio station From 1998 to 2001, he was the founder of the Russian Hit radio station, which has received the Best Brand/Effie award. From 2002 to 2005, he worked together with Vershina advertising agency on producing extra-large outdoor advertising (measuring more than 1,000 m²). In 2005, he pioneered an innovative technology for advertising on mobile phones. Since 2006, he has been a marketing and advertising advisor to Gleb Fetisov. Since 2012, he has been the CEO of Sreda Fetisov Films together with Alexander Tsekalo and Gleb Fetisov, specializing in film production, product placement and film promotion. Since 2013, together with Gleb Fetisov he has been joint CEO of the Fetisov-Teterin Films media holding. His main areas of expertise include investment in film and TV, and advertising. Fetisov-Teterin Films is an official advertising dealer for the Moscow metro. He has produced Some Like it Cold (a comedy timed to coincide with the start of the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014) and Chef, a comedy starring Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Dustin Hoffman, Jon Favreau and John Leguizamo, co-produced with Aldamisa. He was the advertising producer of Alexei Uchitel's The Major. He also produced the film Viy, to be released in 2014. Oleg Teterin has been a member of the Producers Guild of the Russian Federation since 2013. He speaks English, French and Spanish. He is single and raising a son.
