'Getting naked was challenging': Dylan Penn strips off her clothes to pose with a Fendi purse in provocative fashion shoot

Dylan Penn may have said no to posing in the nude for Playboy, but when Treats came calling she was 'honoured.'

The 22-year-old daughter of Robyn Wright and Sean Penn had no qualms baring it all in a sexy photo shoot for artsy fashion magazine Treats that hit newsstands on Tuesday.

Dylan's cover shot shows her totally naked with arms crossed over her chest and a furry Fendi bag covering the front of her body.

'I never would have guessed getting naked (using a Fendi purse to cover my vagina) would be so challenging,' Dylan told the magazine.

'It feels pretty strange. I'm honored to be on a cover of a magazine like Treats and was so excited to work with Tony Duran, that was definitely an experience I will never forget.'

Working with the photographer who is famous for his black and white nudes was a treat in itself for the young actress.

'I knew his photography from before I was asked to shoot and really admired him as an artist,' Dylan gushed to Treats.

'I have always loved his black and white nudes, they were always so tastefully done and, more specifically, showed that certain elegant yet strong beauty that I think all women embody.'

Duran was just as appreciative of the acting heiress, telling Treats: 'I watched, for glimmering moments, the tomboy leave Dylan's body  All self doubt, all expected disapproval, all inhibitions.

'Just for moments. But I was there to capture those moments and document the beginnings of what I am sure will be a powerful woman and beauty icon.'

Dylan - who was rumoured to be back on with Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson late last month - may have spiked her chances with this revealing photo shoot.

The starlet showed off her figure in several other pictures for the glossy magazine including one in black and white that has her soaking wet in a cliingy top and overflowing cleavage and staring out from behind a curtain of damp hair.

Another picture shows Dylan wearing just a black mesh bodysuit, her luxuriant mane of blonde hair framing her face.

Dylan shows fringe appeal in a third picture, and is seen sprawled on a couch and showing lots of leg while wearing heels and a dress in another colour photo.

Sean and Robin left Los Angeles in the 1990s to raise daughter Dylan and son Hopper in Ross, a small town outside San Francisco, California.

'Let's just say thank god I didn't grow up in LA,' Dylan told Treats. 'No, in all seriousness though, I was raised outside of San Francisco in Marin County in a small, suburban town called Ross, and I couldn't have chosen a better, more beautiful place to grow up.

'I don't deny that I had a very privileged upbringing but my parents and that town maintained a sense of normalcy that I think many people find hard to achieve and I am so grateful for that.'

And yet here she is appearing in her first major movie role and in a thriller called Condemned.

'I'm trying out this whole acting thing,' Dylan confessed. 'It's hard to say for me because I've rejected it my whole life until now. I literally can't say it without laughing.

'My truest passion is writing so I continue to do that on my own while seeing what all the buzz is about being in front of the camera.

'I start my first movie at the end of the month with Eli Morgan Gesner who I cannot wait to work with. I swore I would never do a horror film but when I read the script and met him I couldn't resist, it just seemed like it would be so much fun to make.

'And I really wanted my first experience to be just that.. plus, three weeks in New York... in the spring... and getting paid for it? F**k yes.'

In the horror flick, Dylan plays the youngest member of a group of kids living in a condemned building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Her character must think fast to stay alive when the building's residents become infected with an illness and go on a killing rampage.
