Another Tex Ritter musical Western notable only for a rather rousing chase sequence at the end and the appearance (under a pseudonym) of my buddy Hank Worden as Tex’s sidekick.
Otherwise, there’s not much to enjoy here. The usual gang of bad guys (led by perennial bad guy Earl Dwire), a pretty girl (debutante Jerry Bergh in the first of her mere two films), and a lot of bad dialog delivered even more badly. Yes, there’s another fist fight between Ritter and villain Charlie King, and it must be admitted that these two really go at it in their fights. I can’t imagine someone wasn’t very sore after the kind of clobbering they give each other.
