The Invisible Man is a well-known story that has been a part of pop culture for over 100 years. It's been adapted multiple times for screen and stage since its publication, and it hasn't always worked. However, even before the newest iteration of The Invisible Man dropped in theaters, and it received getting solid buzz for quite some timeThe Invisible Man boasts a pretty stacked cast to tell the newest version of the story.

The original novel, written by H.G. Wells, tells the story of a scientist who has figured out how to turn himself invisible and chronicles the subsequent terror that follows. The new film takes a different spin on the story. There's still an invisible man at the heart of it, but the focus in director Leigh Whannell's version is on the woman whom he terrorizes.
