Wow! What a fantastic record! If you ever wanted to hear THE late, innovative and inventive album from Brian Eno – here it is! Only that it's not from the british ambient-god but from one of the most original american musicians who - since his beginnings in the sixties - became a living legend now with good reasons! This late work from a master of electronica is everything one could ever have wanted to hear from the Silver Apples: innovative, subtle, surprising, suggestive … in fine: a masterpiece from one of the most captivating musicians around! Take some time and listen carefully if you're an enthusiast of outstanding music!
The Edge Of Wonder opens the album and is a beautiful song. Unfortunately that is the highlight. There are a couple other pretty good songs but a lot of it sounds like a terrible rap album. Dan Taylor died but there needs to be a real drummer in here and not an obnoxious drum machine. Bummer.
