We stayed one night at this hotel, which was on 22 October 2021, the location of this hotel is really good, it is very close to Corfu Airport, the hotel is very clean, the hotel reception staff are very helpful and welcoming.
We had breakfast at the hotel next day, it is buffet style, the staff in the restaurant are not very helpful and not welcoming at all, the Manager was very rude so were the rest of the staff.
The main shopping centre is about 15 minutes walk, there are few takeaways nearby and very reasonably priced.

The hotel is dated and needs updating. There is no hot water for a shower or a bath if you arrive after 6pm in the evening! This is because the hotel is full and the water system is not powerful enough to accommodate the full capacity of the hotel where water is concerned at 6pm or after! This what I was told by the receptionist on the evening when I asked about the water temperature.
I was given a room that I did not request and was told i was upgraded but there was still no hot water. I was moved to another room which was much smaller and there was still not hot water for me to take a shower or a bath. I was told that someone would call my room when the water temperature has improved. No one called me so i had to make do with a dry wash as i did not want to take a cold shower. The reception staff was appalling and did not think it was necessary for me to have hot water after being bitten by misquotes whilst travelling on the day. I paid £100 for the night for the room and it was not worth it. The TV remote was unable to switch the TV off so i had to sleep with the tv on all night!
The hotel refused to be mindful and did not offer any compensation regarding the cold temperature of the water.
The food is bog standard for this expensive hotel. This hotel is not a 4 star hotel!
The location is good but that's all it has to offer!

We did enjoy our stay but wished we had opted for Bed & Breakfast rather than half board

Welcome drink received on arrival. Quick & efficient check in.
We booked side sea view room with balcony, which was on the third floor so had fantastic views of old fort & corfu town. The room was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything thing we needed. Comfy bed with linen changed frequently and towels changed every day. Free Wi-Fi in rooms.
Great selection at buffet breakfast and all hotel staff were friendly and hard working.
Pool on the small side but made the best of the surrounding space. Free pool towels. Private sun beds can be used just across the road for a small payment to the restaurant.
Plenty of nice bars and restaurants in walking distance if you want a change from hotel or don’t fancy the 20 minutes walk into the old town.
We really enjoyed our 2 weeks stay and would definitely stay there again if we come back to corfu.

We stayed at the Repos Palace for a week .
Positioned away from corfu main town but a nice walk into town around the bay passing lovely
tavernas on the way .We were B&B at the hotel .
The breakfast is buffet style and the restaurant
is large so plenty of room either inside or on the terrace. The food on offer is vast from fruit or continental to cooked fayre and always a friendly member of staff on hand serving tea and coffee. Whether at breakfast or just chilling in the evening the staff are very friendly chatty and fun and always polite and courteous
We had lovely sea view room with balcony overlooking the bay .The room was cleaned every day and a large fresh bottle of water supplied .
Lots of wardrobe space . The room was fully aircon which was really nice as it was rather warm
when we were there. If I had one criticism it would be the bathroom which was fully functional large and clean but a bit tired.

The hotel is tired and dated, the bathrooms have not been updated since being built. I did not expect a bathtub and plastic shower curtain in the 21st century at a supposed 4-star hotel. The shower head is on a slider rail, the water was never above warm most of the 10 days it was cold. Water never stayed in the washbasin, several other guests we spoke with complained of the same issues and reporting it to the management achieved nothing, just mealy-mouthed words. Almost forgot the partition walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms.
It is a very tired hotel in need of investment, fortunately the majority of the employees work hard to keep the customers satisfied.
On the plus side there is a regular local bus to Corfu town from just around the corner as getting parked can be an issue in town even in October. It is about a 20-minute walk for anyone who is reasonably fit along the sea front to the town.
I would not return to this hotel

This hotel is perfect location for Corfu town , on foot it will take you about 20mins to walk into town .
The room was perfect, lovely comfy bed and tea/ coffee facilities.,
Gorgeous breakfast and wonderful evening buffet , we hadn't booked half board but was allowed to pay 20 euros per night to eat in the restaurant, which was totally worth it .
All the staff from reception, dining , cleaning staff were simply wonderful, so polite and happy .
We would definitely come here again , such a welcoming hotel , thank you to you all making our short stay so special

I have stayed here several times due to the location and , more importantly, because of the lovely staff from the reception to the catering manger and his staff. They are really so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The main problem is the hotel bedrooms. I have stayed in a normal room and also the most costly, the presidential suite. ALL of them are really 2 star. The mattresses are rock hard, most of the window panes have failed. There are no bidets so in 2023 you still have to put wc paper into a bin. This is 2023 for goodness sake! The steel baths have no grab handles for safety and it beggars belief shower curtains are still being used in 2023! The washbasins are only just attached to the wall as the slightest pressure makes them move downwards. The flooring in the presidential suite is lino! and loose in parts.The most costly suite has a table and two chairs and two old deck chairs.The hotel needs a complete revamp. I suppose if guests keep booking there is no incentive for the owners to do any updating. This is false economy as should a nearby site become available another company will open a hotel, take the best staff and make sure they are at least 4 star unlike the Mon Repos which is barely a 2 star. Having spoken to several guests they all said they were coming back to Corfu but wanted to stay elsewhere as the accommodation was so poor. The owners should take heed. The location is brilliant, the staff are brilliant bit nothing else.

We have just returned after a fantastic 2 week stay in Corfu at the Mon Repos Palace Hotel. We had a sea view room (233), which overlooks the bay and the fort. The staff are really friendly and courteous, especially in the restaurant, and made us feel extremely welcome. We stayed on a half board basis, and whilst the breakfasts were lovely, the evening meals tended to be a bit bland, with not a huge choice. Special mention must go to Costas, the maitre'd, who seemed always to be working, and tried to help us improve our basic Greek language skills. It's about 25 minutes to walk into town or the 2a bus stops just around the corner, so there location is convenient.

Mon Repos Hotel has a really great location, not too far from the town centre and with a fantastic view of the waterfront. Our suite was incredibly spacious and had a perfect view of the sea. The service was amazing! Everyone was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us! The breakfast and dinner were delicious with a wide variety of dishes. But what really made our stay special was once again the service which was top quality and truly wonderful, the staff really cares about their guests (especially Isabella, Iris, Efi, and the supervisor Mr. Kostas.) Will definitely stay again when in Corfu. :)
