I'm a freshman, so I haven't experienced a lot of stuff yet, but everything I've experienced has been great. There are lots of activities and clubs, the teachers are nice, and the classes are fun.
I absolutely loved the teachers at this school, but there were also a lot of things wrong there. There were a lot of politics involved. There were a lot of kids that got “left behind” that sat on the side lines and never got looked at twice… it wasn’t always the best environment.
I’ve always had amazing teachers at Lafayette, and the students are kind. There are so many activities to get involved in and there’s also a lot of parental support.
Lafayette is a great high school. There are many clubs and activities to get involved with. I'm part of the Robotics club, Key Club, and National Honors Society. All the teachers, coaches, and staff are always helpful. My experiences at Lafayette have been all positive.
My son's time at Lafayette was very good. He received academic scholarships for college. The only negative was during his senior year and how the pandemic interrupted everything.
The best part of my high school experience would be the involvement in debate, stucco, nhs and Key club. I have met so many new people through being a leader on the board of Key Club and stucco. Spending my day at a debate tournament may seem boring to some. However, I get so much enjoyment from debating with my partner against other schools and interacting with new people. That doesn’t mean they aren’t bad parts to school… Like the teacher that refuses to round your 89.5 or having to do agility training at practice, instead of playing the game.
I transferred to Lafayette from one of the rival high schools in the same area. Within 2 months of the transfer I realized Lafayette offered better communication, school spirit, and academics. Transferring schools was the best thing I could have done.
My experience at Lafayette High School has been very good. I have got to learn many different things in many different ways. I also hsve learned how to manage a tough school schedule while playing volleyball. I would change the way we teach things and only teaching things that would be useful in the real world.
Some teachers aren't as organized as they should be and it makes the students feel rushed for everything. It makes them unprepared for tests because there's so much work to do in such a short amount of time.
It was a good high school. I learned what I needed to in each class, the teachers are good, and I had a very positive overall experience.
I have attended Lafayette for one year and the atmosphere, the culture, and the people at the school make me want to return every day I am not there. The curriculum, extra-curricular activities, the students, and staff members do all they can to help and teach everyone around them.
I think it’s a good space for learning, however I feel as though the discipline and teaching is weak. I have had teachers that didn’t teach me anything all they did was tell me things and set above average expectations that were not reachable. It was extremely difficult when tests were over material not mentioned or barely mentioned. As well as very repetitive lessons.
It was a great school that provided its students plenty of resources to develop their strategic and problem-solving skills.
Enjoyed seeing my son grow throughout high school. Lafayette offered a strong education, sports, extracurricular activities.
I love this school it is everything that I could ever hope for in a school the teachers are great the students are great I have never had a problem with anyone the facilities are nice and overall its a great school
I went to this school for 3 and a half years, to begin with, the school has wonderful opportunities. For example sports, The A+ program, and resources. But the students who attend aren't the best.
The teachers and staff is amazing. What I like most about the school is that I can learn and challenge myself to do well without stress. There are many options for extra curricular to participate.
