Blox Fruits Wiki
Hi there! If you're new to this wiki (or fandom) and plan on making an account, please check out our Rules page, for information on new accounts and some rules to follow.
This fruit is considered to be one of the best grinding fruits in First Sea since it is an Elemental and has AoE moves, decent damage, relatively low mastery requirements, M1s, and one of the fastest movement abilities in the game. However, Buddha or awakened Magma are more recommended in the Second Sea and Third Sea, unless you are an experienced grinder and can awaken this fruit, due to the high level requirements in order to activate Elemental immunity. Its Awakened version is a great choice for PvP due to its good stuns, decent range, good combo potential, and high damage.
The wielder is immune to all physical attacks (Fighting Style, Sword, and Gun) unless they are imbued with Aura or, in the case of an NPC, they are higher level.
Light Spear
The wielder gains a Spear made of light to use as their M1 attack like the Ice Trident. This can hit Chop users as it is a fruit attack. Note that you do not need to put stats in sword to make the spear more powerful, increasing the fruit stat makes the fruit do more damage, including the M1 light spear.

The player summons a huge barrage of light beams falling from the air that create explosions upon impact, in a radius shown by a circle that appears upon activating the move. This move can be Instinct tricked, but the move will drain their Instinct dodges in less than 2-3 seconds. Also, this move stuns (only soft stun) while draining Instinct, so you can line up another move, for example, the C move, then follow it up with the X move.

The player turns into light and flies extremely fast, slightly faster than V1. Unlike V1, this move can change direction mid-flight, but the maneuverability is poor due to its snappy nature. Hold [F] To Fly and move your camera to change the direction.

The following results are tested on NPCs. The variables that were used to test include: 600 mastery, 2550 points on Fruit Stats and no accessories. The results are for reference only, there is no guarantee that all of them are 100% correct.
Comes with a Light Spear which isn't affected by sword stats since it is scripted as a part of the fruit similar to Ice. This is particularly good for fruit mains as they don't have to put stats in sword and can also deal damage to Chop users.
High mobility.
High damage.
Long-ranged attacks, which give it a versatile moveset.
Almost impossible to hit all 3 projectiles in PVP unless the target is stunned.
[X] Hand of the Emperor
This move has endlag (when moving the yellow beam), which puts you at a disadvantage in combat if the move is missed, and also is quite hard to hit without stun.
[C] Lightspeed Destroyer
Single-target move which makes it unsuitable for PvE.
The lower the health you have out of your total health, the slower will be.
Snappy turning.
Slightly slower than the unawakened version.
Trivia[]
The Light Spear was really glitchy the first time it was updated, running against a low wall like the one in jungle can make you fall down while your character glitches. This was fixed a few hours or days later, during the Christmas event.
In the first few updates, Light Blade used to be a separate item instead of being attached to the fruit.
Light has the fastest flight speed in the game if you’re at full Health.
Unawakened Light Flight is uncontrollable, and only flies straight. However, the awakened version, Shining Flight, can be controlled but has approximately 45-degree turns. When flying with light, if you come in contact with any surface (other than water) you will bounce/reflect off it. This is most likely because of the properties of light in real life, which bounce off of surfaces.
Although the value is lower, Light V2 does more damage than Quake V2.
If you were using Lightspeed Destroyer (C move awakened) and get teleported (like during trials) you will become a star, literally. You can still use any abilities, or skills, but in the appearance of a star.
Rarely, the unawakened (X) move can stun NPCs. This is most likely a bug.
This fruit is one of the best fruits for grinding in the first sea because of short cooldowns and a strong M1 attack but can also be used for grinding in 2nd/3rd sea as well.
This fruit can be more effective in AFK grinding than Magma due to the light spear. Since you can use an auto clicker with it, Ice also work in this case too.
Light fruit’s awakened (C) move is quite similar to Made in Heaven’s judgment ability.
Weirdly, The Non-Awakened version of the V move is better in the matter that it breaks Instinct, however lacking in the large AoE that the Awakened version has. The start-up lag of the Non-Awakened version is also more noticeable like Rumble "Sky Judgement" (C Move).
After losing a friendly battle while holding the Light Spear, it will disappear. It will appear again when you reset your character or rejoin. The change isn't just cosmetic, you won't be able to damage anyone with it either.
Awakened Light's (C) Move, Lightspeed Destroyer, acts somewhat similarly to Portal (Z) move, Portal Dash, as both moves involve the player teleporting to the enemy, dealing damage by kicking the enemy around, and smashing the enemy down to the ground.
The Unawakened X move is very similar to Dragon C move.
Although Portal is faster than the (F) Move, Light's (F) Move is good for getting to specific places, like the top of the Great Tree.
